cannot for the life of me decide. you and no lunch both are players of the type i find difficult to read.
i think a lot of what no lunch is saying is right and makes logical sense. that's about all i can say about it.

might be coming around to a scumread on no lunch. combination of the aslight read and a general feeling of Bad that i'm sure i could put into words if i really combed the posts.
at the time i thought it was fair, but no lunch's irrelephant read bothers me as well. lunch says elephant hasn't been sorting yet, just spinning his wheels. i don't really agree with that.
back to post 85. the points sound good but they paint elephant as more scummy than he actually is. (replying to specific points)
1. i think this conclusion is premature.
2. pushing for a definitive answer that should be obvious already, i didn't find this scummy from elephant. more indicative of playstyle disagreement/not getting the sarcasm, which does happen.
3. so? we've barely started, is this a point against?

and about the volatile coalition thing: elephant's full coalition at the beginning was akin to RVS/testing the mechanics by my understanding, not a way to catch scum.
it's actually similar to my feelings about no lunch's read on me: it's a fact that scum can tend to be more linear/easy to understand because they are consciously attempting to be so. being incongruous, or even outright contradicting oneself, is something i would actually be townreading depending on the situation. not that i think elephant was contradicting himself.

About as comfortable as I should feel on page 7, I believe!
There is some chance that I'm wrong, but I feel it's a workable representation of my current town-to-scum reads and ability to be confident in those reads.

It is hard to allocate a percentage to it necessarily, so I hope this qualification helps.

Chara, I may need to take a break and come back to you. Irrelephant11/Chara was starting to feel like a high-equity solve for a while.

I don't really like the way you're shutting me down for taking a stance on Irrelephant11, and the way you've kind of sat on my case until now. If you disagreed so passionately with me about it I'm not sure why you didn't take the opportunity to engage with me when I was feeling more passionately about it?

It's basically a list of grievances, not a case against scum which I feel is likely to actually catch scum-Irrelephant11.

I feel that there are inconsistencies and dissonance in his playstyle. I also think that's incredibly obvious. Is this exclusively attributable to him being scum? Eh, I could talk myself out of that. Actually I'm currently kicking myself for reacting to your defence here, rather than waiting for Irrelephant to come back.

I think I've misconstrued your comments about my rhetoric around Irrelephant11 as an attempt to soft-defend him / soft-shade me. If I'm being entirely honest I do have concerns, but I am definitely coming down on him harder than I normally would. This is a combination of the fact that he's a player with a strong game as both alignments, and someone who is good at earning townreads regardless of alignment. To flip his rhetoric around, I do not want him to be comfortable.

So there is a very strong chance that this is you correctly identifying that I'm blowing my read out of proportion.

i think the real-time reactions + interactions was pretty townie on both ends - no lunch getting annoyed for chara's push and chara picking up on that immediately and the immediate flip of the read
