It's been years since I've gotten a ranked pentakill. While I'm happy to get one, I wish it weren't such a cheap one that wasn't just in service of a loss:
im gold in two queues now and don't really care if i'm higher than that but i still want to play league
i think the next thing is to learn some "impressive" champ that's harder to take into gold, maybe Azir or Ryze or something
but maybe it's just to get some therapy for gaming addiction
Just had a throwback ARAM game with Kayle using the S3 liandry build.
I'm happy about the Kayle rework, but the Morg one is definitely going to fuck with me. I'm betting that they try to make her a more useful waveclear mid and will completely miss that the reason why she is not played mid is not because she is not useful, it is because she can never do a crossmap play or roam faster. Mid Morg does and will have to take TP. Only way around this would be to give her some tower smashing passive, which you could make the case that she becomes a playmaking version of Ziggs.
Some gimmick like "spreading torment" by being LoL version of Zerg would be cool, but would never work unless Riot wants to go to the trouble of making Taliyah's worked ground come up in some neon colour on it. That would give her a reason not to leave lane if she can instead make a super buff area for herself later in the game.
Realistically her Q is going to be capped at 2 seconds and will have her E broken by removing immunity in exchange for some sidegrade W, new passive and VU. Stomach acid is acting up at that thought of what they're going to do.
I think this is coming in the next patch with Renekton VU assuming it's the preseason patch and not another money patch
Have been playing quite a bit of Galio mid lately in flex and it's been a much easier experience than I expected. Stat sites like op.gg show him disadvantaged in a lot of matchups I felt pretty comfortable in - probably because my enemies lane against Galio pretty rarely these days. Laning before the first back is almost universally pretty tough but after that and especially once Galio finishes RoA, his waveclear is strong and he feels like a really wonderful mix of tankiness, utility and damage, like a Lissandra who trades laning ease and some damage for better (though higher CD) CC, global map pressure, and further bulkiness - which I think is a pretty good trade! My first attempts with Galio felt terrible because I couldn't figure out how to survive and keep up in cs during lane against most matchups, but lately I'm more comfortable leveraging his passive for waveclear and even poke. Figuring out when and how hard to trade against various matchups is my current main challenge w/ the champ, with figuring out how to pull off impactful ults reliably coming second. I also need to make better calls about when/how to engage/teamfight. In general, Galio has an interesting mix of mechanical and macro challenges to overcome but a satisfying payout for when that's pulled off. Dude makes the game feel fresh again.
In my last game, I realized that Nocturne's Ult is quite a sound counter against Galio's due to its vision restriction - because I can only ult teammates that I can see, I had a much tougher time countering his engages than I do vs other junglers. So he's probably going to have to be my main ban for a while.
hi guys
tell me what's wrong with the idea of playing nunu mid so that i stop trying to do that
the waveclear feels fine, i'm not dying in lane, and my roams are comfortable
so what's the reason it's taboo

I can see a bit of a lack in (teamfight) damage depending on your build but if your team isn't starved for that, i see no problem with it.

also its THE classic int thing with disco nunu mid
neeko strikes me as an ap trickster amumu
like, her teamfighting is about getting into the middle of the enemy team and ulting, but she does that with her camoflaugy skills somehow
I wonder what role she is supposed to be.
As in her kit looks halfway between mid and jungle, but not great at either (in lane and at jungle clearing that is). If you can force skirmishes she should be fine though.
Depends on numbers of course, as always.
She certainly seems fun
Too much of her kit is situational; I feel like she’s gonna end up like Ivern or Nunu. Depends on her tuning, but overall she’ll be underplayed in th long run.
Few things probably make or break her like whether Q+Auto triggers electrocute and how exactly W works. From what I'm reading it seems like you should get the bonus movespeed on your third attack, not from stacking onto an enemy. That's about the only way she'll be making her low range Q work, but it telegraphs the play.
I think she'll be a skirmisher/wave clear mid. Q is on a low CD but with a high mana cost. A support will be more happy with someone like Karma which has basically the same Q early in the game and meaningful 0CS utility. She could work to support Swain, but Swain is the chad of bot lane and anybody works with Swain.
