Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Somehow my awful team is clinging to a one game lead in the division and over the wild card (with four teams tied at .500). My starting lineup last week only had two drafted players (for $16).
Reck is a very slight favorite to win our matchup (he's down 6 with 7 projected points). But if peg loses (down 9 with 5 projected), I still clinch a playoff spot with a win next week (Reck and Sharon would play for the division, but I would get the wild card). If Reck and I tie, and peg loses, I'm guaranteed a spot. (If peg wins, I'm not guaranteed in even with a win this week - I still need to win/tie next week, or a peg or Sharon loss.)
Well, Reck won (comfortably), which means five teams for two spots. I'm a big favorite to keep both spots in division 1 with a win or tie thanks to peg and pabs also losing, but if I lose then either could get in with a win (with peg trailing the tiebreaker by 31 right now).
Reck is the very slight favorite for division 1 winner right now (I'd have to outscore him by 94 if he wins). If Sharon wins, it's possible I could catch her (down 20 points - if we finish tied she has the edge in division record). The loser is out unless I lose (without catching a losing Sharon in the tiebreaker) and both pabs and peg lose or tie (barring some crazy result where Reck loses and peg wins but Reck outscores him by 44).
you are in division 1 and leading it with the most points scored.

Despite pabs possibly finishing as the highest scorer in the league (needs win by 24, currently projected to win by 30) , I'm going to keep him out of the playoffs.
Currently, Reck is projected to beat Sharon by 4; if so, he would take the division and face Nero. If Sharon wins, there is still a chance I could overtake her on points for the division (I think total points matters more than division record, but I could be wrong). Regardless, we could finish pretty comfortably 7th and 8th in points and both get in (along with Nero, likely to be in 6th). That's pretty crazy schedule luck.

I'm actually a slight favorite right now, since Ware is doubtful and projected for 0 points. Assuming Titus subs in Gore, I'm only projected to lose by 5. Which isn't bad, considering Titus averaged 15 points per week more than me for the season.
Welp, Titus didn't sub, Mahomes tied his season low, and Mike Williams blew his projection out of the water. So now I'm projected to win by 37. (I will probably still find a way to lose.)
Nero is also a pretty big favorite now, thanks to Damien Williams (benefiting from Ware being out). Good night to be named Williams, I guess. (Even Darrel Williams got a TD.)
Chargers won b/c they had more Williams on their team than the Chiefs.
