i think it's possible that there's an additional protective. i mean, i already thought aristo had a pretty decent chance to be scum, so it's possible that the roleblock there was what stopped it. him coming out with the nihilism thing doesn't change a lot for me given that the person who roleblocked him would theoretically know that they targeted him and him trying to hide it would only make himself look more suspicious. i have no clue why you would get roleblocked yesterday and i don't expect any theorizing that i do to be particularly enlightening. was it that it was scum controlled and they were scared of you? doubtful. the more likely scenario seems to me that it's just someone blocking based on their own reads or something, so i'm not sure where you want me to go from there. to talk about whether or not i think it was a "good" block? i don't really see how my opinion on that matters, honestly.

Our thought process:

NSG seems more emotive in response to the gladiation than usual, but that's not surprising to me (it confuses lh)
NSG is known to be able to "obvtown" but we don't actually know what NSG obvtowning looks like (our experience with her is limited)
NSG seemed to process the implications of the parity cop much more fluidly. does this imply less cognitive load (i.e., less scummy) or more information (i.e., knew we were real)?

So some concerns with NSG remain

But with Nico I go back to posts like this:

I know you're town, Fire. And so I'd like to start a conversation with you in hopes of working together to refine reads.

At the moment, I've got you, Adelbert, Pork, Creature, NSG, Gamma, Jjh, Vecna, Meme, and Lady Angel as town. The rest are null, leaning towards scum.

I'm also hoping that whoever stopped the nightkill can confirm townies outside my townreads, making the rest of the scum very obvious. And I think whoever stopped the nightkill should claim today to help with poe and also to make my targeting as a bodyguard easier.
