Why?

So far, all we've seen from scum is a role that is blatantly only useful for town and a role that forces a lynch, which backfired. While this can obviously be proven false the more scum roles we've seen, none of the claimed roles or roles we've heard about so far really would balance out town having three protective roles yet.

Why?

So far, all we've seen from scum is a role that is blatantly only useful for town and a role that forces a lynch, which backfired. While this can obviously be proven false the more scum roles we've seen, none of the claimed roles or roles we've heard about so far really would balance out town having three protective roles yet.

Strongman would easily balance any number of protectives.

Im fairly confident that jingle is scum though but we’re lynching in nico/nsg though

In the scum game I read, he seemed a bit calmer, a bit more collected, whereas here he seems a bit more random and spontaneously aggressive. So he just seems tonally different. But I haven't really looked at his meta beyond that. Also, he posted a lot more as scum (150+ posts in 2 day phases as scum vs. ~100 posts in 4 day dayphases here). As scum he had more presence. So tone + activity both suggest difference from scumplay.

Why wouldn't you choose a conftown from gladiation so you could either conftown or confscum your target?

I guess you're right in your theory, tho it still would have only given us 1 clear, but at the cost of a town (if they were same-aligned). Don't think it was the optimal choice, though it worked out well!

Oh no, this question's a two-parter.

If your flavour's a hydra of the two people that originally created it, how does a pinball machine fit into it?

The anime that Shiro and Sora come from is called "No Game, No Life". The idea is that they basically live to play games (i.e., pinball), and they never lose (hence the 'win any gladiation'). The parity cop functionality was heavily gated (requiring another player to target us to fix the machine).

Considering I don't think RC actually got very deep into the anime but was mostly accommodating shiro (the player), it seems like a pretty decent homage
