I think the point about volxen being active and invested in a game only if he has a power role is hilarious, but we're playing with

Regarding yyotta- I think she's afraid of me and just refuses to reply to what I say. My vote's still on her seeing as she was explosive in her previous newbie game (with jumble as scum) game, and now she's trying to flip to the other end of the extreme which implies that she has something to hide this game.

I can't say how much of what he posts is motivated by him being a good town IC vs him being scum and trying to influence the game in his way. I'm against policy lynching the guy (which reminds me, I should change my vote....) but I can't shake the feeling that everything he says has LAMIST written all over.

Honestly, this makes Voturka seem really off to me. I really think theworst is trying to work towards town goals in a way I think would have to be an insanely complicated scheme for him to scum. I'm pretty sure he is locktown considering if he was scum as an IC there is less motivation for him to share strategy information than as a town IC.

I think nonny also brings up a very good point: Vortuka seems like they are purposefully trying to create chaos in the thread to hinder town progress. Vortuka's efforts to target theworst are either defensive as Vortuka is theworst's biggest scum read, or they are the actions of a scum player who is trying to get rid of the most experienced member of the town. I'm not so sure I trust some other players such as Jumble, but I think that Vortuka is likely our best option for today.

I think that also makes Vortuka a good flip for determining the likely alignments of other players. If they flip town, we might want to cast some more doubt on theworst, but if they flip scum, I feel it is unlikely scum!theworst would bus their partner this early in the game.

No, he is not necessarily going to try and get you lynched just because you are voting for him. If he is town, then he will presumably vote for whoever he finds to be scummiest. If he is scum, he will be trying to push a mislynch through, unless he feels the need to bus his partner.

Are you actually scumreading Jumble though? Your sudden vote switch to him and saying that it would help you to avoid getting to L-1 was kind of odd and random.

I did, and I don't agree with them. Vorkuta defended himself saying "this guy is saying the same in three different ways", but seemed like he disregarded the depth of the post in order to attack back to get off the attention he was already gathering. I mean, if you're acting scummy and people start scumreading you, acting surprised is a little hypocrital. Is like this meme:

Lol pretty much the whole next page was a discussion about that, but looking at the negative perspective of knowing he's a VT. Knowing that a slot is conftown is great in order to get a better PoE, so as much as I agree with the "you shouldn't claim VT 'cause you give info to scum", the way he claimed VT gave much more benefit than drawback. foodcoats should be treated as locktown; I hope you guys got that after page 8.

Do you have something to say about this, or you just feel stupid for not drawing the same conclusion?
