@Gamma: Kokichi did throw out a lot of conflicting information - I recall him saying Maria DID have the sword and also that Maria didn't. From scum POV, the only possibility I can think of for not killing Kokichi is if they thought Varsoon's claim held any weight? This should make it more likely that Varsoon is town.

Varsoon’s claim was that Elsa was Arthur and MariaR had the sword, right?

Yep, and that he was Merlin.
If Varsoon was scum fakeclaiming, scum would be locked on Kokichi as Merlin.
If Varsoon was town, from scum perspective Jay had a higher likelihood of being Arthur as that was consistent with Varsoon and Kokichi's claims, perhaps?

Bear in mind Alchemist also claimed Merlin.

Except I'm not sure what he's getting at since I also retracted my claim due to Kokichi yesterday

Not sure why I'm being called an idiot here, either

I don’t recall you retracting, but in that case things might be a lot easier to work through here

Contrary to most time I ask this question, I think Nancy is right, but there’s a lot more to be mined from this.
In post 2575, Varsoon wrote:I figured Kokichi was right and was covering for him.
Since so many people had already claimed Merlin, I was hoping to smokescreen it so our Merlin wouldn't get shot.
I also figured that Kokichi was not lying and I did not want Maria to take the chance at the shot regardless, which is why I said that Elsa was Arthur
.
Was hoping the scum kill would have just been on me or Elsa and that my smokescreen would pay off.
Guess it kinda did anyway since now we've got 2 confirmed town alive and kicking.

I faked hard at grabbing the sword N1 to throw scum off my scent and not kill me N1.

i agree with Cakez. this game feels like mostly inactive/passive scum. i recall a lot of town fighting town over claims.

also i was going to post a few things from Gamma that felt very suspect until i realized he's town. so that's... well, it's something, at the very least.

That is a misrep. I already said, I thought Ariane was scummy. THEN I said, that you hadn’t done anything to change my mind on that.

So, I am not scumreading you based on “inactivity”. I obviously am not townreading for that on top of a slot that pinged me, before you even replaced in.
Nancy feels town too. i've given up on trying to read sequentially and am going through sections as they catch my interest.
hypothetical scum Nancy focusing on a town slot whose only meaningful actiom was a vote on her just doesn't seem likely.

I don't think that's that weak of a reason
I'm fairly certain myself that at least two scum are in the lurkers
it feels like the whole time has been TvT with the flips and kills we've gotten
I can't argue against your feels, but activity based reads are weak unless player specific imo.

Rofl. What?
How do you expect to find the culprit when you're all worried about each other's feelings? If you're planning to expose a liar, then you have to corner them psychologically.

I mean he's not that wrong but you were very adamant that it was maria towards the end so that pretty much clear up the remaining haze from you
