I’m the most genuine scum player on site. I’m far more self concious and self aware as town.
I also have a proven record of playing drastically different from everyone else on site.
If you say so...
This is scummy.
Why would you expect someone who's never played with you before (and never even heard about you until a few days ago) to guess that you're a unique player and judge you according to some special set of rules?
p-edit: it's a general comment, nothing about you in particular.
I didn’t like that vote either, but Plotinus seemed to want his room plan to go through more than anything else, so I could see it being an irritable vote, if that makes sense.
There were already 2 votes on Dunn at the time too, not that i thought it would be quick hammered, though. Just something possibly worth noting

Besides, the room mechanic is cool. Let's use it
i townlean this
feels like town are more likely to be like "yeah this cool stuff let's just do it" than scum who would probs be trying to micromanage or get the most out of it or something

Fair, but you could say the same thing about Persivul since he’s actively going away from it, but now has turned into the skid.
Regardless, I don’t dislike the vote, it’s worth a shot. I just can see it coming from Town Plot.
@Plot - I don’t think I’m actually familiar with you too much as a player. You’re always the mod in the Newbie games I play. That’s actually kind of funny to me that you might have some crazy familiarity with me, but it’s not a two way thing, haha.

I doesn't seem scummy to me, so I was interested in knowing why you thought so. Of course, the more direct way to do that would be to ask you, but I felt like putting a naked vote to make a wagon instead and see what happens.
Don't you find Flavor's post to be self-conscious? Scum start the game thinking about themselves. Town start the game thinking about everyone else.
I know I get self-conscious even as town. Don't know how Flavor is.
Also, haven't heard from Dunnstral about what he didn't like about Flavor's entrance. Is it the same as what Persivul is saying, or anything different.
It’s probably because I pseudo contradicted myself. Not really contradicted, but went against what I was feeling. I was weary, but went with it anyways. I feel like it makes sense, but I understand why he felt those vibes.
I’m still weary about Persivul attempting an early pocket to sway the game his way.

i guess it's like exactly what i was talking about for SS being town but the opposite. feels like he cares more about micromanaging it than anything else
not inherently scummy but not the towny "lol let's just get a pt"
In post 47, Plotinus wrote:I've modded a bunch of games with this mechanic. It's optimal for town to have places to work together out of scum's eyes, and you can scumhunt people in private differently from you can scumhunt them in public.
I get that, but randomly assigning rooms before people have had a chance to form town reads doesn't accomplish that.

what?
persivul is doing the exact opposite of SS
I was referring to Plotinus. I agree, it’s the opposite, but on the same side of the coin.
Interesting. To be fair, I guess I don’t know you too well either, but I’ve been on site since 2014, pretty consistently and am quite a loud player. I just assumed our paths have crossed before.

Do you think scum would be able to effectively micromanage the process?

doesn't matter if they would or not, the question is how would they approach the situation
and to that i think the answer is pretty close to how persivul approached it
