What do you think of the point I just brought up in 596?In post 544, Chara wrote:Robert does seem lynchbaity, but i'm usually pretty good at finding the town in that, and i'm not seeing it here.

i can agree with it. it's not a great play as scum but it also isn't a good town play, which is why i find it hard to townread. In post 596, implosion wrote:Honestly Robert is probably null too. He just feels... idk. His posting is really meh but there's not a ton of scum motivation around much of it. Like his mcqueen vote and his defense of it is kind of a dumb thing to do as scum. Actually think he's town the more I look at his recent posting.
i'm okay with the vote there because of how i feel on the rest of the list, though my reads are much weaker than i normally like to PoE with.
i'm also scumreading Varsoon but i would not lynch him today.
redtea feels null but the arguments for scum her make logical sense, so it's a fine wagon too. in hindsight i suppose scum Robert (why i avoided the redtea wagon) would probably do something other than bemoan the wagon and say he no longer scumread her, if she was town and he scum."Sibling," Farkran asked, starting slowly.
"The CORE is full of lasers, and Chemist1422's entire existence depends on her eye. If she looks into a laser, she will almost certainly die. Did you think about that?"

@implosion: Nah, dude, you're just scum, and if I had my vote, I'd be voting you. I'd be more than happy to see you flip today and the fact that you've doubled down on me and Red Tea feels like you're just shipping out the easiest scumreads without any worthwhile interactions with either slot.
If you think I wouldn't get irritated re: my role and others giving me shit for my play, I welcome you to visit my profile and go read any of my last half-dozen games, where I've consistently been aggro on that front to the point of receiving a signup ban.
You keep applying this standard net for what is scum play or not in order to malign me instead of actually thinking of what makes sense coming from me; you aren't engaging with me at all, you're just calling me scum and justifying it with whatever reason sounds good.-

Ok, let's go through this step by step.
Here you vote Mcqueen for "policy." You're asked about what policy means.
In post 459, Robert2424 wrote:Naked votes are lack of effort and scummy.
So here you're saying what the policy is and why. Note that you're continuing to talk about Mcqueen here. Redtea is not mentioned. In post 467, Robert2424 wrote:Because more often then not its a scum tactic, Happened in a recent game and I'm not going to change my mind simply cause you vote me. Surprise surprise who flipped scum that game too....
Here you defend again. And again, no mention of redtea. In post 469, Robert2424 wrote:I voted for activity, there is a difference.
Now suddenly you're trying to say we're talking about redtea? Hello? In post 581, Robert2424 wrote:Why you trying to say my vote on Mcqueen was same reasons as my reasons as my reasoning for voting Redtea earlyeir.
Explain why your vote remains on Mcqueen.KappaJust MonikaAge is a very high price to pay for maturity.-

Ok, since "that game" is over, I can now declare skitter as a confident TR of mine. As annoying to me as she might be in this game, she has proven that she can't post like this as scum.

And you should know better. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture. (I -of course- won't tell you what to look for. At least not until I can mimic my scum play as Town in this very aspect).

I won't comment on myself, but I've been trying to figure a way to read Percy's play for 3 years now, and I have yet to figure out how tell his alignment through his play, reads, votes.. etc.In post 596, implosion wrote:A50 and Persivul are null because I don't know how to confidently read into what they do yet.

Note: I was as confident as it gets that Percy was scum in our previous game together, and he kept asserting I was scum from the get go. It took us 5 days (and his own flip) to realize we were both wrong.

I can understand Chara's skepticism of me though. Eveninside our own hydra PTthey sometimes get confused as to what I'm doing. It's a matter of playing styles differences. Ironically, I believe that's one major reason why our hydra works just fine. Two people who play totally different from each other, so even inside the hydra PT we are having fun debating our play, reads and what not.

Robert is one of 4 slots I have absolutely no reads on. Why is he scum to you?
P.S. The other 3 are you, redtea and Percy. Toss in implosion and mcqueen and you get my 6-players lynch pool. I just can't get to decide which of them to vote over the others, and I need a case (i.e. not a gut read).

As stated like twice before, I'm OK with Robert, Elbirn, or Persivul. If people are waiting for Robert to be a viable Lynch, I'll give them that.In post 619, Varsoon wrote:Don't break your neck from being so eager, Enter.-

I think Elbirn, Robert, and Persivul will flip red. I don't feel strongly about it, though, if that's what you're asking. In post 621, Varsoon wrote:OK with and passionate for a lynch on scum are worlds apart for me.
You really don't have anyone you think is absolutely gonna flip red?-

@Chara
Can you talk to me about your McQueen read? I'm coming around to him being okay but I don't see content that would make him worthy of the lofty title of "Most Confident TownRead"In post 438, Chara wrote:mcqueen might be my most confident townread and i need to examine why. i remember feeling strongly about it while browsing at work but i need to re-ISO.-

@BrightEyedFish
Do you have an actual reason for thinking I'm scum or is it just that I'm voting for your townread? In post 441, BrightEyedFish wrote:According to my own personal stats elbrin is scum for being the 3rd person on the redtea wagon and I TR redtea, so...
VOTE: Elbrin
In post 442, BrightEyedFish wrote:And a Varsoon/elbrin team makes sense to me.
Varsoon and I have played together several times, and there was a stretch of time a few years ago where I was practically guaranteed to sign up for all of his games. We also both have really nice shades. In post 520, BrightEyedFish wrote:
I think the exchange between Varsoon and Elbirn were superficial and playful with the hint of an inside joke. Also comparing that with Minh's comments and his interaction with Varsoon, I sense a connection there. In post 519, redtea wrote:@BEF Varsoon/Elbirn is too obvious. Do they like to play with fire? Do you think they've slipped already?
Like I wish we were scum here because I've been waiting for that day to arrive, but unfortunately you're detecting chumminess, and not partner tells.
I don't really know what to make of this alignment wise. Chalking *anything* up to WIFOM is my trigger, it baffles and upsets me to see people cover their ears and go "lalalala nothing is certain" and throw logic out the window. WIFOM isn't even an accurate buzzword to use here, just....literally play the game. Which you're not doing if you don't commit to stances. In post 528, BrightEyedFish wrote:
I want to think players like that could be Town but then WIFOM comes into play and I hesitate. My reads smoothen out as the days progress but right now I can't rule anyone out as Town or Scum.In post 527, Varsoon wrote:What makes you scumread Elbirn so hard?
And, really, a hesitation to townread any slot--can you go more into that? Even players like Zito and A50?
I'm not asking you to have a set in stone read on anyone at this stage, but you have to think something about the gamestate. Who would you absolutely not lynch today?
Actually I just realized, you won't townread anyone, but redtea is a townread and that is why you're voting me?
