About A50:
Mostly, I can't get the slightest read on him. He is blatantly unhelpful to town, hints that he's taking it all in and holding his cards close, but for all I know he'll keep drip-feeding his thoughts and then make more excuses. So maybe he's scum playing a game, but he's weirdly confident, so I wanted to poke it. Of course, he doesn't give.

About implosion:
I'm torn between agreeing it's a good attitude and the fact that example was low-hanging fruit.
Hadn't gone through his posts when I questioned your read, but now that I have:
From 318, I don't think both implosion and A50 would be scum. My vote's on A50 still, and is my preferred vote between the two of them. The best way to put it is I don't trust A50, because he has given me nothing to trust. That may be a tick mark above gut feeling, but for D1 it's something.
At the time implosion started needling Varsoon, it could've be taken as jumping on a viable target (to mislynch or build cred), but jumping off of 664, I believe I understand what he's trying to say here. Like there's a hidden intent to the aggressiveness. More staged than real exasperation. Either to push him back or misconstrue his character.
His town read of Enter and BEF make sense with his Varsoon read. But that was early game, and it's possible I encouraged it.
In conclusion: he's town for today, meaning I wouldn't lynch him now. Unlike most of the time where I compulsively list possibilities regardless of my read, in this case the way I interpret his actions could easily flip-flop.

Enter is slight scum read for over eagerness. Papa for not paying attention, and mcqueen for policy and mainly spamming.

Varsoon is to hard to read to say any read on, in one sense I've found his posts a bit more helpful but at the same time I feel our reads are entirely different and wondering if maybe his posting is messing with me like A50 dose.

Your stance on mcqueen makes less sense than crocs coming back and even if you explained it to me I'm not confident I would understand, and I couldn't tell you if that is on you or me for the possible reason one of us is insane.
Your ambivalence on Varsoon sounds weak. Not the fact he is a neutral read, because that is understandable, but the non-specific reasons. "Could be being thrown for a loop", it's one thing to think it, and another to say it, especially like that.

I know Zito wasn't asking me, but Persivul sounds like he's trying to lead people along, and using the pressing deadline to obfuscate the sudden push.
Would rather lynch him, actually. Decent SR on him anyway. This doesn't have to do with any read on Robert, for the record. This could easily be a bus.

Zito exudes a town confidence that feels very driven by conclusions that he naturally came to and developed/expressed.

I went through both Red and Roberts ISO's and I really did not find anything really scummy from either until...

what stuck me is that Red voted Persivul with a "More pending" comment. It's kinda late in the day to not give us the full scoop if you are proposing an entirely new wagon for us. The genius in me wants to fully commit to a Red-Robert scum team for this move. Both are the leading wagons and they are not voting for each other...

Thesp was an IC of one of my first newbie games, and when pressed on this exact question he gave this response:

I strongly subscribe to a limited information theory of mafia in all directions - that is, there is a significant degree of information that everyone ought to keep secret and/or is trying to keep secret. (I think it's important to assess the motivations for keeping such things undisclosed, but it is not always as important to know for certain what people are keeping secret, aside from their alignments.) To that end, I will not explain my actions all the time, nor do I think I should. I do think I owe the town explanations from time to time, and if I expect to convince anyone, I absolutely ought to give more compelling reasons for people to follow along with me.

It is worth noting that I find this approach to be more useful in finding scum, and simultaneously I tend to draw more people thinking I look scummy when I employ it.

This has become a standard part of how I play, particularly early on in games when the scum team is least sure of itself. By not identifying who (beyond Robert obv) I find scummy, I'm keeping the scum team guessing on which of them I may suspect, and thus go after tomorrow. In addition, I'm not giving the scum team notice that I suspect them (again, beyond Robert), so they're less likely to alter what they're doing, which will make it easier for me to build cases on them later. By not identifying who I townread, I'm depriving the scum team of target info. Several players have given at least partial readslists here, so I think keeping them guessing on who we find most townie in general is valuable. However, I did want you guys to know that I do actually have reads - this game has had a pretty information rich Day 1 I think - so I made the post that I made.
