So in every scenario the only available mislynch is roster/FaFF
and it was kinda obvious I was shooting roster

but killing FaFF out of anyone is like the worst play

from scum!lycan PoV, they know FaFF is both town, and lying, so killing FaFF is almost a way to clear themselves

I'm 100% sure FAFF was a cop and told URAP/Eragon in the PT he couldn't produce results to avoid the night kill on the chance Eragon was scum.

This is what I was alluding to in 676. I wanted to discuss the prospects of scum!Eragon in a PT, but after GL made that comment about Roster I felt like I wasn't going to get an all-town PT of 4 and we couldn't discuss it.

Again, I think FAFF was some kind of fruit vendor/modified loud cop or a combination of the two and claimed his role in specific way to try to make it to Day 3. The way he claimed was specifically intended to suggest that he couldn't produce another result (which I pointed out here). Vedith claiming budweiser has nothing to do with what FAFF's role actually did. Vedith got the beer because Eragon claimed "badass"/ascetic meaning to get a mechanical solve Eragon would have to successfully vig OR a guilty would have to be produced on Vedith. There was no reason not to believe Eragon's ascetic claim, because he was very interested in how roles worked ("rolefishiness" I mentioned yesterday: 106, 470, 471, 473, 513), and it's a good assumption that scum know more than they're bargaining for as well. It's my theory that TT's role was some sort of town building power enabler, so FAFF should have had an idea that scum!Eragon could dodge an investigation as he claimed.

Eragon questioned this post because it was super silly- It wasn't FAFF saying

"Don't use your ability tonight"

. He wasn't saying "don't doc anyone", he was trying to communicate "doc me". The difference between Eragon and Chen is that Chen had a doc power and would try to figure out what FAFF meant.
It's standard newbtown behavior to say something like this as a cop- 479 "Well, the advantage of leaving a doctor claim, even a fake one, alive is that scum can't kill the most obvious target. Therefore, we want them to be able to use their protection on a night when there actually is an obvious target." FAFF utterly refused to lynch Chen. If town, Chen takes a nightkill or FAFF can be protected. Either way, FAFF wanted to see D2.
(if we want to get setup specy I believe Vedith when he said roleblocks had no place in this game. it's likely scum had a strongman instead which is why Eragon's vig went through)

Yes, FAFF claimed in a way where beer mattered (as a modified fruit vendor) to make it seem like a one-time deal. The way I see it his behavior from D1 to what he said in your PT with Eragon is basically the same. He wanted to make it to D3.

FaFF is a loud cop of some sort
Chenn was a two shot doctor
TTTT is at minimum a named townie w/ the PA system

what in the world does scum have to make this close to balanced?
