Near x Mello's hop-on to the Vedith wagon was a textbook bus; they didn't have suspicion there prior to then.
Near x Mello and Robert did show suspicion of one another, but push come to shove, on D3 when SuperfluousNinja was an actual lynch candidate, they

Reasonably Psychotic also has some strange interactions with Almost50 but it's hard to parse if those are scumbuddy interactions or anti-scumbuddy interactions; I'd need to research more to determine which.

The question to ask isn't who the scumteam is; it's who the town are.

I would say that my biggest townread is Torque. I had Chito and Yuuri as town too, but a scumflip on mastina would be damning for that slot, and your recent interactions with them were strange, like different from what the rest of the game has been for them.

I want to believe both you and A50 are town. A50 because of Channel interactions, you because you would be correctly reading him and townreading A50 from your perspective is not necessary, even suboptimal as scum.

That leaves me with Joan, mastina, Cerb and Amz, Elena and C&Y outside my biggest townreads. So even if I townread Joan, Cerb and Amz and C&Y more than mastina and Elena, I'm not townreading them as hard as I would like to be comfortable to push the other two remaining players. I don't know what you guys are talking about, but Elena did target me and confirmed it in thread; I asked her to confirm some way that she targeted me and she did, she talked about the abyss thing that Wisdom is talking about

If someone targets me, they descend to the same level I am in the abyss. There are 7 levels, I descend one level per night since I received my new role and I have an active action to descend a level if I want to. I have actively descended all nights so I'm at level 5 or 6 I think. So Wisdom is at my same level now.

The thing with the abyss is not in what level you are, but how many levels you ascend. If Wisdom targets someone else next night, he will die, since nobody else has targeted me; he would ascend 5-6 levels to the surface levels, and ascending in the abyss has different consequences. Level 5 is his action fails and he gets treestumped, level 6 his action fails and dies.

So next night the only night action Wisdom could do is targeting me.

Heck now I can actually give tiers to my readslist and not feel shitty about it. Top-tier is townbloc; locktown reads that are never scum this game, ever. (Pink Ball, I typed out in a PM to the mod--which I paraphrased and posted to the PT once N1 hit--for why my push on you was one gigantic reaction test; you passed, Vedith more or less failed. More complicated than that, but that's the short version of it.)

Second tier are strong townreads, who

could

be scum but are incredibly unlikely to be.

Third tier are townreads that have good backing to them, moderate strength, but aren't infallible altogether.

Fourth tier's "this is the group of meh players--I'm not scumreading them, but these probably contain a scum (or maybe two) statistically speaking".

And fifth tier's my actual scumreads--where there's probably a misread (or two) in there, but otherwise contains solidly scum players who I am HARD scumreading.

Short of a cop guilty, I'm never lynching anyone from the third tier and above any time soon, so we've got an effective lynch pool of pretty much six players. Less if you townread someone, more if you really wanna argue I'm townreading someone I shouldn't be, but I do feel I have fairly good reasons for these reads!

So I'm doing my homework and let you guys solve this out for me: Joan's game from D2 onwards was basically "sheep mastina or else". Mastina was wrong in almost all her scumreads (all confirmed except Wisdom) and three of her biggest townreads are still alive.

I'm conftown, Wisdom I'll treat you as conftown from now on. The game now is called "who pocketed mastina that made Joan say we should sheep her?"

The flavor was pretty cool even if I don't watch anime like at all, it's really inspiring for future modding how involved you were making the roles.

Just two things: the post restriction for A50 was a pain in the ass, the game stagnated a couple of times because of it (granted, that happened because of the circumstances, but better avoid it right?); and I think some roles were too focused on lategame (A50's role again as an example), and I think the game wasn't designed to last that long. Like, my Abyss thing had no repercussions at all (I know it was a drop role, but still).

Other than those two little details, the game had a reaaaaally cool design and if I ever mod something, I'll ask you to help 'cause you clearly know what you're doing. Thanks for modding, Tatsu, and sorry for those times where things got heated up and you had to step forward!
