i guess it's bold. but in the end it was still just a show. given i don't know Renais, but that they seem to be sort of "silly" regardless, i'm not discounting it.

first thing: not everyone plays passive scum.
second thing: them both being scum might be less likely because of this. i need to think about it. not too interested in thinking about Dunn in relation to this without flips.

like, i can definitely see that Renais is having fun, but assuming town who did a gambit to check reactions, i feel the conclusion reached given how i responded isn't a good one. the explanation about me panicking and thinking i would be confscum (when what a Desperado does is kill scum) isn't a good one, and the thought process doesn't really click for me.

3 reasonably strong town players have done fuck all this game and they entered the thread at a particularly interesting point and all they had to say was to ask another hydra about their signing preferences
