If there's one thing I can't stand, it's people who don't think others are entitled to their own ideas. This is a GAME, it's supposed to be FUN. You do know what "fun" means, don't you?

imo, when people take in game suspicions to heart, it's usually because they're scum, scared of getting lynched.

How did you know this before you hammered? Yes, I had my reasons to hammer him (why would anyone in their right mind advocate lynching somebody about to be replaced?), but you never gave us anything decent. Do I know that you didn't bus your scumbuddy? No I do not. Am I aware of more than one scum faction? Yes I am. Am I pretty sure you're in one of them as opposed to the other? Yes I am.

Hammering in and of itself is a null tell. The crcumstances are not. In this instance, Mellowed seemed to be actively trying to get himself hammered for some reason. The fact that Greasy did eventually hammer him could be interpreted as Greasy killing off his scum buddy in order that to create distance. the fact that he hammered scum is in no way a certain town tell. Especially since he could also be a wolf hammering an enemy.

Yes he could be a werewolf, but if he is, then how did he know that Mellowed Man was Mafia? He did not, nor has he said anything else as to why he hammered.

I'm always one to suspect the hammer, but then again, I do it as a double-check measure against the hammerer. Right now, he's failing the double-check. If looking at the hammer vote is scumtell when you voted for that person too, so be it, but that's the strategy I'm adopting, whether I helped kill the lynchee or not.

A Wolf hammering an enemy doesn't require him to be hammering mafia, since the town are enemies too. But seriously... does Mellowed's behaviour at the end not come pretty much as close to claiming a scum role without outright saying "I am scum" as you can get? I mean, if I'd had the opportunity,. I probably would have voted for him at that point too.

I think that he was justified in hammering Mellowed Man, as it was painfully obvious that he was scum. However...since it was already apparent that Mellowed Man was going to the chopping block, Greasy Spot could've just hammered him to try to say that he and Mellowed weren't on a team when they could've been.

I see where you're going there. It'd be different if it were 3:3:6, but it's 2:2:8 and lynching your scumbuddy means you have to deal with everybody else in the game on your own.

Well... if he was almost certainly going to be lynched no matter what you did, which you could argue was the case with Mellowed, then distancing from him becomes important, thus making the hammer a possible play. Makes sense to me. It's still just a theory, though.
