Setup balance on this site is basically "we expect town to suck and we expect scum to play God like so we're gonna give town as much power as possible and use (expected level of play) to justify it". Be careful jib would have played differently. This a classic claim and coast scum game from jib. FL wouldn't allow such a terrible game to be played by a scum mate. I also get quick lynched Day 1 in face to face mafia because I generally play all open/semi open setups so we don’t have to have a mod, so whoever dies Day 1 mods. I’m generally the main one who can handle it when we play with a bunch of newbies.

FL was killed because Vedith tied himself to (Jib town equals FL town) I'd imagine the decision was made to make FL the night kill once he started pushing that. Emp and Vedith as scum then Vedith is calling the shots imo. Vedith follows FL's reads. Makes the case on his scum buddy early in lylo (demanded ppl to town spew opening post, essentially demanding controll of the thread immediately) then I'd imagine since he stated I was his only TR he would have worked his way to making a Scum push on Slaxx (since FL stated one of tchill/slaax is scum). Obviously he'd bank on Slaax being the lynch to win. My only REAL reason to believe in this part specifically is due to his tone switch up on me. I think Slaax and PP were towns best players. I don't blame them a bit for issues they had during this game given what jibril did and how bad enter looked pushing me.

We got really lucky because for the most part this is one of the worst games I've ever seen from town.

It takes luck for scum to win and I've pretty much lost any faith in good, consistent town play from a group as a whole which is where that thought comes from for me. Of course ik you SHOULD as scum plan your lynches and who you want in lylo. Other than that you've just gotta play the game.

Plus my familiarity with FL/boons is something I pride myself in. Not necessarily my ability to "play" him as scum but my ability to play with him that's beneficial to me no matter what our alignments are.

At one point he stated scum tchill always gets in an argument with him. Simply because of that statement I avoided an argument this game.

I'll never talk about him in a negative way due to the fact that not only did he mod most of my first few games but I just enjoy playing with or against him here as well. PP is also a player I enjoy on site. Pers and SS maybe new additions to that lists and ik everyone can't play their best every game so it's not like I'm writing off other players immediately. I just liked SS and Pers based off this game.

I agree with this. I am a strong proponent of town never lying except in extremely limited circumstances.

It's getting out of control. It'll never be fixed due to ego unless site wide trends begin to punish those that play a certain way. Which will probably never happen.

I understand mods are TRYING to fix it with giving town more power...

That's not the answer for players that refuse to play as town In a consistently positive way that is beneficial for the GROUP opposed to the individual "hero".

Yeah FL only real mistake I see that you may have made was correctly stating scum would be pushing jibril but then failing to notice that's exactly what I was doing lol. Other than that I thought you played well. It's not like you have to worry about someone SO accustomed to you every game. Only reason I almost always let you live long when I'm scum and you're town is SPECIFICALLY due to familiarity.

I think vedith would have been much better had he played the whole game instead of replacing in.

I mean we really, really got lucky PP just so happened to be the watcher (I wanted him dead before pers discovered that) and then we could play off the enter night kill as a PR kill.

It was really dumb to tell jib where to jail. We knew enter would be a free nk because of that. What's funny is jibs fake claim put us in SUCH a harder position lol.

Of course it derailed setup spec. Also hurt the watchers play. Plus could have false cleared me had I made the kill...

just so you know, had you gone ahead and claimed goon cop you would have confscummed yourself – goon cop is not a whitelisted role for normal games.
