Also, @zeebu - here is one option. I have sized it to work for Mafia Scum. Download it, then click User control panel (top left), profile tab on top, edit avatar (3d option on left).

Another good getting to know people issue - general timezones? Im North America, and usually on late at night or early morning my time as I am limited during the school day. On experience, I have appr. 20 games, with only 1 true scum experience outside marathon or replacements. In general, Im a try-hard as any alignment.

I'm slightly offended you think anyone could be so stupid.
I kinda wish someone had hammered though. That'd have to be some sort of record and I, for one, would be happy to be in the mafia hall of fame.

mostly.
What about 29?
The second line. Not caring about if the lynch was a good one or not is scummy to me. The going for a record part is awful.
1)
I've already established that I didn't think any town would be stupid enough to hammer. The implication is that we'd then know who scum was. I didn't showcase my thoughts on that until later
so I can understand it looking at bit suspect when viewed in isolation.

2)
It's a sarcastic joke meant to highlight the ridiculousness of the idea that someone would hammer so early.

3)
I also felt that the first line was a bit rude/confrontational so I wanted to lighten the mood.

Why are you town reading Teacher?

Of the 7 posts he made before you shared your reads, he had only made 1 constructive post (w/rt to the win condition). -
Not meaning to trash talk @teacher. Don't know how to word it nicely :).

In post 40, teacher wrote:ASC, what do you think of Sasha’s silence after the wagon?

@board-general experience levels? If not your first game, give me a little self-meta?
What is it about this post that makes you town lean on him?
What makes you think he is more town than Shiavetto, who made a post with actual analysis?
In post 39, Schiavetto wrote:Honestly, have to echo the sentiments of T4 and others w/rt the assumption that town would, idk, accidentally trip over, fall into their keyboard, awkwardly landing on the keys "LYNCH SASH" and hammer

Even without browsing previous games, it feels like you're preempting a defensive read there ASC ("Look at me, I'm being cautious of town making a mistake, which makes me town myself!")

There's utility in early-game wagon-building & I'm in no rush to relieve pressure, even if rand. Parking, fam.

1. Suspicious I might have panicked and went dark while the wagon built itself is almost 100% town.
2. He wants to know a bit of everyone because he intends to hunt, with meta if need is.

I think Schiavetto's analysis (bolded, right?) could come from either alignment, so I'm not giving full townie points for that.

Am I just being impatient when I think this is really slow? I don't have any real reference for what I should expect for player activity so maybe I've got wrong expectations.

Nah it’s fairly slow but weekends normally are. I think it’ll pick up in a day or two. Every game has ebbs and flows with longer deadlines.

I’ve had games like this and games where 20 pages have been gone opening day. This is on the slower side, but not totally outside the bell curve for my experience. Rule of thumb is RVS ends and game picks up around page (player numbers * .5)

Sorry for the poke, hopefully I'll be more active over the next few days. I guess that's the problem with having so many reactionary players - It's easier to build on someone else's post than it is to start something new.

Why specifically those two? Is it for their inactivity? Arithmancer has posted less than those two, and Schia and I have been away for just as long.

i think hes asking us for our reads

mild scum lean on arith for post 54. several had already stated this (including myself) and general agreement that it probably wasnt likely to happen anyway. i dont think it needed to be said again.

sorry for the lack of posting on the weekend, i should have tried to find a computer. i spend a good portion of my weekdays tied to my desk so i expect a large jump in my activity starting now.

Honestly this read looks weak and something which scum would post just so that they can just reply to a question (in this case to TTTT) since you bring this up only after TTTT asks you about your scumreads and not before? What makes Arithmancer's any different from other people who posted on the same thing including yourself?

he asked a question and i called it like i see it. as far as not saying it before, was i supposed to? its my first time on these forums, im trying to learn how to play on here. do you always post something immediately once you have an inkling or do you withhold for a while to try and gather something slightly more concrete? honest question
