Because it makes it seem like you don’t care about the answer - that you’re doing it to “look” towny rather than actually find information. If you cared about it, you’d push for answers like TTTT and Schiavetto have both done this game.
though when asked a direct question i address it. i feel that anyone who ignores or evades a question is worse.

In post 402, teacher wrote:@TTTT, sorry to disappoint, but Ive got no gamesolve to offer. This town better get its poop in a group. I have multiple slots not asking questions, multiple ones not answering the ones asked, and multiple ones not following up. Its one of the more disjointed games Ive been a part of.

Im willing to join most lynches. JPD, Schiavetto, and TTTT are my never lynch pile, which is normally larger than this by now. Im inclined to give Sasha a day pass despite my current vote, because my vibes are mostly meta which is weak.

Zeebu --
while I dont like how easy the wagon was to get on you, I also dont like how it stalled out at L-1.
It would help if I could find ANY scumhunting in your iso -- you never follow up on , , . Nor do you investigate TTTT with questions or actively push him. Nor do you provide town reads. What would you say you have done to advance the game?

I already have pending questions to ASC (Schia) and Clearly (JPD's). I need something from Wilky. But those four are my ideal lynch pool.
what were the other alternatives to stalling out on L-1? hammering it home?

Yes that’s the alternative. I’ve asked a couple times for a towncase from those who resisted you (TTTT and JPD more recently), but others did just let you sit as well. Also, just FYI, you can snip a part of a post by highlighting just the part you want to talk about and then hitting quote.

that is good to know, thanks.

from the way i see it, it stalled on L-1 because it was early enough that no town felt comfortable hammering, especially since i dont know what im doing, and assuming at least one of the scum was out there, hammering me would have only made them look bad once i flipped town.

like you said, this is a rather slow game. i havent been helping that situation, i know. weekend activity level and general experience level havent been real strong points in my favor.

when zest was still here, he was put a vote on me and when wilky finally showed up, i was then being read as town. wilky, what convinced you that zest's original thoughts were incorrect and now i am town to you? was there a post that i made to convince you of that or everyone had hopped off that wagon and it was a good time to follow?

It’s called a hammer test. Hence why I played along. It’s to get reactions from those not really following.

@asc
That's certainly a large part of it. From what I can tell, the vote was an attempt to get me more active, which seems very townie. This game has been very slow, and any attempts to increase activity give that person huge townie points imo.

I regret not doing that trick on page 1 when I had the chance. I didn't think of it until the day after, when I'd already unvoted. I guess it doesn't quite have the same effect if all the votes are on one page though.

@zeebu, I can’t really speak on the test since it wasn’t mine to begin with. But we REALLy need an intent and you’ve been playing all day without mechanically moving the game. Kindly intent or explain why you won’t?

to get down to it, i was planning on announcing intent around 4pm est ish. i was hoping wilky would come in and say literally anything.

now ive also got the added bonus that TTTT intends to lynch me if CC flips town. i think CC has a good chance of turning up scum, but theres always that nagging doubt. and now i get that added bonus hanging over me.

Eh, everything changes after flips or should. Good play means constantly being willing to reevaluate based on new info.
