Why am I wrong in misreading such theatrics as SvS distancing?

BEF: APPARENTLY has a "naturally" scumy posting/playstyle even as town (played with in Autumn'sfarewell and was fed this meta over there), but the "laziness" the "semi-troll" ISO and his "D1 BEF wagon = scumtell" nonsense still ping me even when filtered through the meta lens. @skitter, since you said you were trying to appear scummy, could you go back and clarify some things? Notably your 719 naked town read on ofrz, and your inexplicable gutping for LUV being scum in 818. I liked a couple of Luv's takes so far this game, and some of their analysis seemed very town!mindset to me.

Those are my reads on both of them; i wasnt trying to be scummy in either of those posts

Firstly, I agree with their take on Buj's response to your push on him earlier in 749.

In addition to that, it was probably an overreaction, but I kinda like just how confrontational it is in some ways. In other words, luv's analysis makes sense and doesn't seem faked to me. I also liked the way they tried to dissect my attempt to analyze TLK's iso in 401 in their 708 by comparing it to their own. It was non-conclusive, but I can easily see it being town motivated.

Also, speaking of TLK I really like his push on Vork, and don't really feel the doubt I had about his slot anymore. He's town for that, and other things in hindsight.

I actually didn’t think I could read skitter that easily despite lynching her d1 in another game

That Skitter wagon has scum on it.

No full scum team sits back and watched FL vs Skitter and doesn’t add fire. Had Skitter not been IC, she’d have been flipped, which gets a high priority lynch.

Firebringer/Vorkuta are the ones who had reasons to go there. This is Day, so in theory it could be picket attempts, but that would be obvious later in the game, so no need to worry too much about it there.

I’m not a meta reliant player, so it doesn’t really matter. I can see the type of players people are from playing the game with them, and that’s the majority of what I do early game as town.
