I don't think Scum!Skitter pushes me as scum here knowing I have the potential to speed my slot as town but the accountability for my flip would probably be handed to her regardless.

You were already voting me. I don't know your history with irrel or persivul but I would assume those are the only other slot you would stay away from as scum.

i'm not sure about tris. it's not that i find her towny, it's that i find her feel very similar to our last towngameand i don't really know how to deal with that.
second that scum skitter doesn't fight me. both of us would appeal to each other as scum v. town, i think.

I'm sorta wavering on my RCE scumread rn actually because I'm not sure scum go for the "whoever's towniest must be scum" paranoia case when, meanwhile, multiple slots seem to have lurked out of the game (I think town might do this if they're actually experiencing an overwhelming amount of paranoia)
But otoh it's not like his ISO is balanced out by incredibly towny scumhunting and I don't know what else to do with my vote, at least until the lurkers come back/are replaced

Like I'm flattered at the level of manipulation you think I 'm having but so far none of the things you've said I'm aiming for have happened, aside from Chara providing some skitter and shiidaji reads at my request.

If you're going to scumread me for providing content because "oOOooOOooO the rest of us might interact with the content!!!" then I don't know what game you would like me to play. Solitaire?

saying scum is hunting around for mislynches is too vague when you consider that elephant's making readable content and isn't just pushing others for it. townhunting isn't scummy, it's a major playstyle that's extremely popular, it's a NAI activity. scum elephant is towny enough and smart enough to figure out who's mislynchable by reading the thread, he doesn't need to shop around on day 1.

i have a bad habit of townreading scum who've made mistakes as lynchbait, so i'm not comfortable townreading ceejay for it. i'll leave him at null.

pedit: that being what Percy said about pressing someone upon replace-in? i see the concept, but it's not that so much. mainly it's the lack of a player i want to pounce on right now. i'd really like to see those replacements.
and Shiidaji slot is still a player i suspect, so.

So just kinda an update:
-Cure Peace has kinda said she is likely to sit out this game
-Cure Sunny is dealing with some RL stuff and while she isn't fully gone she is likely to continue to be inactive
-Cure Happy is still recovering from her academic work and I simply haven't heard from her in a few days and I honestly have no idea when she's coming back at this point

I will try to get a bit more caught up in this game soon, but I wanted to say in some ways I think it might be better to see this as more of a "kinda 2-headed hydra" in the short run and I want to really thank Cure March for holding it together while the rest of the players in our hydra are dealing with a bunch of RL stuff. Sorry that our slot has become kinda a mess as a result of all this.

Irrelephant — you were one of the four people who commented on my post, and subsequently, one of the people I'm going to have on my radar. I'm far more defensive on this than I should be but when one-third of the game is scumreading me for my intro post I have to wonder what exactly is up with it that makes it so off. Please elaborate.

why does this make you think there's scum in the group of players who didn't like your intro post?

i might have missed you already talking about this, but that sort of post is (historically) one that could come from scum and could be poked at at the beginning of the game. and by that i mean commenting on the speed of the game like that.
the fact that it's this many players should tell you it's NAI, unless you think scum as a whole was going after it.

Happy going MIA kinda messed me up tbh. I kinda like RCE and skitter both for town personally, and I didn't like tris's pushes on those slots, but don't want to override March's vote and push tris when I feel like March has been paying a lot more attention to the game. I have almost no read on CJ but wouldn't mind seeing the slot go so I don't really strongly disagree with March's vote but I'm not super into it either.

No, I just didn't understand why I would be scumread for it.

It's more the absence of towniness while not quite being a lurker in combination with having multiple votes on people I townread throughout the game, not the joke in and of itself. But I do think playing off an RVS vote as a joke is slightly more likely to come from scum than town, yeah.
