Yes. Definitely. The #1 rule of playing with me is to be afraid of me (as either alignment). If you're town you don't know which alignment I am, so you should be wary, and if you're scum you do know I am playing against you, so you still need to be wary of me.

That I should stop getting played. Very helpful learning experience IMHO.
There was another game where I just sheeped a solid town player to victory and it turned out quite well.
If I can't make 3~5 good/solid scum reads, then the next best thing is to make like 1 good town read and follow them from there.
Hell you're a mechanical player- the odds of randomly rolling a die and picking 1 player to just blindly assume is conf!100%town are quite favorable no?

I mean I think it's common courtesy to divulge some things, especially seeing as how our reads of each other are most definitely going to be affected by that game.

That was done without my consent, and the 2 players responsible for that already had a nice successful gambit as town in a PREVIOUS game (BTX) that I was part of. Several characters in the game would've given me a really hard and painful time so I decided to just roll over and go with the flow. (Kind of what I'm doing right now hmmmm)

Like, I don't want to turn this game to a discussion thread of a previous game, so maybe we can talk about that later. My point is simple:

P.S. None of us was born a good Mafia player. I personally do not even consider myself to be a good player, but I do have my moments of brilliance. God knows I made some horrible moves (and I still may do occasionally) but I try to learn from them. That's all.

P.S.2 Another game has just ended that I was in, and I played like shit, but we still won because the other townies did well and scum were unlucky.

I mean look- I have no illusions about having any "useful" role in this game, with this player base.
If scum slips up, someone else will spot it. If I have a gut read, someone else will have a better gut read.
As a certain someone once said to me "Your reads on either of us mean jack shit. You wouldn't catch either of us as scum"

So I'm just doing what I can here and there, and have the occasional gut read that I broadcast to the world (the 4Bs, a tiny bit on orfhz, and A50 (but not your predecessors)).

Like right now I'm torn between giving you town points for the genuine sincere "aww it's a newbie- let's help him and make him better!", or if this is a huge LAMIST wave that you've managed to be in the right place and the right time to ride.

In this game, there is a lot of pre-existing player dynamic, every good player here has like 3/4 "counterweights" who can solve their slot,
