The television shot jumps to reveal a man who looks exactly like what you'd expect the editor of a major jazz magazine to look like. Pandemonium is unfolding behind him: the Kennedy Center is smoking heavily (and not in the cool way) while crowds of people flee the building.

"It's hard to say what's going on right now, Christine. It appears there was some kind of explosive event." Bobby pauses and holds a finger up to his earpiece. "Authorities aren't certain if this attack was carried out by individuals or some sort of extremist group. Jazz legend Branford Marsalis, along with multiple band members and concert-goers, appear to be injured. Police said to be on the lookout for two men dressed as samurai fleeing from the scene. They're said to be armed and extremely dangerous."

The screen cuts back to an anchor in the newsroom.

"Thanks, Bobby. This seems to be a very chaotic situation and we'll keep all the viewers at home posted as more details emerge in what can only be described as a terrible event down in Washington DC."
