Now for the rest of my message;
@everyone else, All this filler is relatively useless. As per my site of origination meta, I currently want exactly two wagons, which i are forming, and pressure on those people. Doing that puts a lot of scum mentality through prolonged lynching and fear of wagons/counterwagon, outs a lot of scum.
Staying put on my lunch for now, as a wagon seems to be building.
I'm just seeing how things roll. See which wagons form and where pressure goes. It's why I'm holding off voting right now. I've seen a few games start with scum trying to push people and start wagons.

From my experiences, pushing wagons day 1 is NAI and in most cases beneficial to town.
However you said that you are purposefully holding off. In my opinion, This is incorrect. Having constant pressure on people and judging reactions, shifts on wagons, and lynches is critical, especially day 1.

Pardon to butt in on this lovely convo, but I am generally against metaing people for their entries. RVS voting based off it is fine, but I disagree that many people use intros as a substitute for scumhunting.

Oh not holding off totally, just abstaining from throwing out votes willy nilly. That being said the idea of day 1 pressure is new to me. I've played about 4 games though so to be fair, everything is pretty new to me lol.

Good to see you’re enjoying the site.
I am still new to his specific forum, so site meta may be different, but from where I come from (chat-based usually 30 minutes to 4 hour games) pressure is an extremely important part in games such as those. I am simply playing how I know to play. Pressure may not be a meta on this site.
I have no idea. I played a few games on a wrestling site which were super casual, tried another forum which felt like jumping into a shark tank and then found this one. It's nice learning about other peoples stance on the way they play though. This is my first game here and I'm loving the slower pace, rather than logging in to 300 new posts lol.
