If scum confirm they have a doctor or Jailkeeper to save me that's 200 IQ plays, but wasting it on a VT seems stupid. Then again, I also thought that happened in Boonskiies Gameshow Mafia but they just roleblocked the vigi trying to shoot me.

i've seen scum say this sort of thing *a lot*

it's ridiculously fallacious to push someone on the basis of being 'not townie' (i.e. as opposed to being scummy). scum tend to push this as being a good reason to push someone:
look at him! he's not being townie! why should we keep him alive? why shouldn't we lynch him ???
and esp. tend to do use it as a reason to push the leading wagon du jour.
it's a signifier that they don't actually scumread you (they can't point to something they actually find scummy), but that they want the wagon to gain/keep momentum

i've caught scum with this *a bunch* of times. don't remember town saying this ever
