Another idea is to create pointless discussion during LYLO situations. We could pretend we've both been put in a PT to do something and create meaningless discussion to lead town astray from inevitably lynching you. That's another plan.

It will create this impression that there must be a scum in each PT too, so if you flip, this might clear me.

Actually I like this idea. We could say we either are another medic PT or that we are a roleblocking PT. This could actually work and this will fuck with everyone's head guaranteed. That MIGHT save your slot.

Pushing the "they are lying" conspiracy might be riskier in this scenario because it could highlight our strategy, so that's the downside.
