This is true and an assumption I rely on in this sort of setup. It got me through Revenge of Camn and a couple other games iirc.

However I did not employ said strategy in this instance, mostly because no scum pm was available to us.

Was busy with life and school but I graduated and I’m on vacation from work so I have a lot more free time now.

Multiball and Dayplay aren’t things that go together since Multiball is night focused and ruins dayplay completely.
We might as well just throw Dayplay out of the window early to mid game.

but as town we can at least lynch a scum, causing that scumteam to prioritize hitting scum over town so that the scumteams are even

I remember reading A Ice vs Fire where every scum survived until town had only one member left, then had to settle for a draw or lose. Both factions played really well but neither could win.

Its significantly easier to play the game with flips.
I’m just saying, its hard to gain control of the early game.
Its hard to lynch scum day 1 as well.
Also lynching scum isn’t AS important tbh. I mean its always important, but there’s always a chance that a scum can die over the night because Multiball is bullshit. So scum can always die during the night.

I’m just saying, there’s a line between fun and competitive. When you are more competitive, you are less likely to have fun and more likely to be frustrated.
Thats no fun and nobody likes that.

Like, Multiball isn’t a normal mafia game
