I think I agree with him? Hold miller claim off till Lylo-1, and if he is obv town enough scum will have to kill him because town won't end up doing it at Lylo-1
It was more the unvote I was talking about.

I feel like I missed a post or something, how does that make teacher scum?
When you have two people making the same case but the one that was made later down the road with the exact same argument has a player joining it simply because it actually took off this time, that's scummy. And that's what teacher did here.
This is another nonsensical read.

Skitter has significantly better communication skills than vork. That's a much better reason to attribute people sheeping skitter over vork

I also might add that it adds up to NC's earlier argument for a teacher scumread that his vote served no true purpose and was a placeholder so yeah, this is definitely the kind of thing that catches my attention. Skitter tends to be highly respected in these games and I think it could play a huge psychological factor in people's decision making here.
Hmmmm.

You seem to acknowledge to a similar degree what I was getting at, but still come to a wildly different conclusion. I'd love to talk about this but honestly I don't wven know what to ask

oh I see what you guys are asking

I'm talking about the reads he gave in 605-610. He's laying it all out there on request, in fairly short order. Some of them, like the read on nom I think show a townie thought process and solving. There's no immediately identifiable scum agenda outside of trying to get himself town read.
Getting town read seems like a reasoable scum agenda tho

Like no.
We're out of VCA, we have a ton of analysis, and it's extremely anti-town to just focus and give attention to one slot and one slot alone during ALLLL of D1.
Like ok- we lynch the miller claim D1 WITHOUT any discussion and then what?

D2 we're dry. No associatives, no info, no other interactions to analyze so that's it.

The way the discussion has led us in circles and explored other potential groupings is extremely important
It should have only been on the miller claim with respect to the claim as a whole. Of course you don't literally talk about the claim and only the claim

Bottom line is that 30+ pages in and the rolefishing in those 5 ish first pages still bugs the crap out of me

Most people voting Vorkuta were people who previously expressed interest in voting Vorkuta

This is some bad analysis, and it seems like you're just defending vorkuta
I don't think testing the waters as to whether or not the game can get a wagon on a player that's prone to omgus and 1v1s is a good look either. Is that the only reason you find the vork wagon acceptable?

Does his play pick up in time?

I think teacher's passiveness is kind of scummy too. I'm conflicted between "give him a chance to town it up" and "if we don't lynch him for this now it's going to be a lot harder to get a lynch on him in later days.

Skitter, do you have much experience with flubber? I've interacted with him more outside of mafia games than in. I don't even know if we've played together before, but this fits with my personality read on him. I think he can make this post as either alignment

and he kind of has to after that post I yikes'd lol
Last time we played together you were vt, I was scum, and I tried coasting the game off a scum read on you.

My scum game isn't great but I'm well past having to lurk it out

Continued absence of a read of his own
There's enough content and scum reads on active players that it doesn't make sense to be wagoning a lurker, and I'm not going to fake a read on a slot with such little content like the rest of the town seems to take solace in.

I've asked multiple people multiple times to talk to me about why ED is scum because I'm not going to be able to start brute force looking through the thread for them and have been ignored.

What is your read on ED?

I've slso not given this game that much attention. My motivation fluctuates. Especislly when I don't feel my reads changing at all despite other people not agreeing. Like we're definitely at an impasse as town and so the importance of lynching right day 1 becomes significantly less. We just need info at this point to change it up a little have people say new things.
Like, this is a scum motivation masked by makeup and cheap perfumes

@urap

I don't see anything wrong with buj's reads list, he looks like he's trying to solve the game, and I've been calling out the fact that this game is apathy lynching several times and yet it's only concerning when buj does the same thing but with more words?

This selective scum read thing this town likes to do needs to stop.

skitter is in that weird townread area she's always in
kinda thought vork was town until they disappeared once the pressure was off them

urap's posts look town but I haven't been a fan of their pushes
same with nom

shoshin still looks scum but slightly less than before

I'm having mixed feelings, I'm trying to decide whether we're playing [a game where town lynches strongest PR d1] or [a game where town let's scum get off from a strong investigative claim], I've lost games to both of those scenarios before

I think I would like the sho lynch more if nom hadn't started pinging me just a little bit, but uhh, I also recognize that my 'pace' in deciding things like this tends to be a lot slower than most town are okay with

(Still feel bad for Egix, did you see that he conceded and mod actually denied it? Ughh that was like, a huge reason I was second guessing myself on him because I was pretty sure he would concede. sorry this is o/t)
I found a little more time.

This is simple.

Shaded me, nero, urap in the matter of a few posts.
You are exactly what I was talking about when I was talking about scums taking the opportunity to create a last-minute wagon and feed off this impending chaos.
You just need to die. You're opportunistically looking for a new wagon to form and NC is solely on the list because he's the second wagon. That's fairly obvious to me.
I've been pointing out your pushes are shit since the beginning of the game. I've been doing it with urap since about halfway in the game.

You acting like I'm trying to cause chaos when it's in my interest as either alignment to not be lynched and I'm the leading wagon is a crock of shit.

Wow! So do I! That's why it's a waste of my damn time do an extensive analysis of their play!

and that vote sat for a period of 700 posts over the course of which he made a few posts so it wasn't that he didn't have an opportunity to change the vote in that time

that's what I was referring to and I really don't think it's a characterization of what happened.
Doesn't mean I fully caught up and even then I was making attempts to sort shoshin as an individual. It's not my fault there was no need to follow up

The fact the shoshin got run up despite ed and salad being equally likely suggests salad is scum

I have no problem acting like the ISOs are equivalent. Especially on D1. Lurker slots are easy for scum to push regardless of the content. There's exceptions, but not here.

to an extent but scum could just easily vote you but they aren't, why do you think they aren't?
I don't have a single town read on my wagon so I have no clue what the hell you're going on about

Pretty sure we wouldn't be competing wagons if lynching me gave an easier solve than lynching you

And "just take one for the team" lmao get the fuck out of here

VOTE: nero

You wouldn't be placing survival votes if you actually believed that nonsense

This feels like it has one scum as a whole wagon, but there's a lot of good candidates in it.

I'm obvs scumreading urap

Still would expect a scum in {dunn, salad} and I'm tempted to add vork to this since he drops off the radar a lot

Not a fan of nom but would be willing to chalk this up to us not seeing eye to eye

Nero woud make a good poe lynch out of this list but at that point town's already lost I think
