I'm open to the idea of having side meme battles where people can make meme teams and we can have a running tally but a whole second bracket feels like kind of an unnecessary dichotomy between experienced players and new players and I don't want people to feel left out
pedit: that works!-

Just for the record, if we care about tiebreakers, my suggestion:
1st tiebreak: Total number of single-game wins.
2nd tiebreak: Number of the match wins vs. all tied players
3rd tiebreak: Single game vs. every tied opponent. Most games won wins.Start from the top again if necessary."Animorpherv1's posts are so powerful that prolonged exposure may cause vertigo, nausea, acute tinnitus, and in rare cases, death." - vonflare

For the record, trying to counter-team someone in Pokémon happens in grassroot tours like this. The things is, it can backfire horrendously as you usually end up opting for something with an advantageous matchup, at the cost of overall consistency. Just don't use the same all the time."i agree we should have a rule against wgeurts" -Davsto

I'm willing to wait for Dannflor's VLA to end before his first game! I don't think I'll be super strict with timing things because there will inevitably be difficulties finding times that work.-

Actually, if you were playing competitively it would skew the other way (You'd want to play against weaker teams to get more wins, so you'd want weaker breakers unless you weren't going for top place.)In post 141, RadiantCowbells wrote:Hard oppose that
Running suicide leads doesn't make your team worse and running the few pokemon that can 6-0 a team (who are generally rather win more and not strong picks) doesn't make your team better.
I'm big enough to admit I know very little about what would make decent breakers in competitive pokemans though.
The point of having the other breakers system would have been tiered pairing. The point of this would be if play extended past single undefeated player/ties were possible AND undesirable.animorpherv1 wrote:Just for the record, if we care about tiebreakers, my suggestion:

I very much doubt you guys are going round robin. This is a Parachute.-
