The Mafia team is composed of 2 players who are randomly assigned to any rank and role in the game (They can be officers. If either of them are officers the secondary win condition does

apply). They have two win conditions A) outnumber the town/endgame them or B) kill the entire officer command structure (Captain, Commander, and Lieutenant). There are

(randomly decided) are actually in the game. The rest are Vanilla. Also, you know there cannot be multiple instances of one role. They are:
Jailkeeper
Voyeur
Follower

Additional Role Notes;

1. Doctor can cure poisoned targets before they die.
2. Poisoned players are aware of it and die at the end of the next night after they've been poisoned.
3. Motivator cannot grant an extra NK, and the Captain directs second use in one go e.g (motivate vi + cause his second action to target crypto)
4. Rolecop only reveals PRs/Vanilla, not rank.
5. All results are given to the players, not the Captain.
6. During the pregame random role assignment, if the Captain is given a PR, there will only be 2 PRs in the game.
7. Only the Poisoner can target himself. If the Captain orders someone besides him to self-target, it will be as if he did not send in an action for that role.
8. Follower/Voyeur clarification: Jailkeeper=Protective/Voyeur=Informative/Follower=Informative/Rolecop=Informative/Bodyguard=Protective/Motivator=Supportive/Doctor=Protective/Poisoner=Killing. Also, the Follower cannot detect the factional kill.

All you said previously was, “That's not a reason to unvote at this stage of the game.” in post 56. At that point you didn’t give any reasoning as to why you thought the vote switch was potentially scum-indicative, so there was nothing wrong with me asking you again.

Yes, she did unvote you first (41) before changing our slot’s vote to Zeebu (55). I was pointing out that a similar thing happened in the first CoC game, where I voted for Shoshin during RVS, Liz removed the vote, and then later put our slot’s vote on Voted. The only difference between her unvote here and her unvote in the first CoC game is the “pressure” she came under here for doing so, mainly from you and Saudade. She also voted for Zeebu (55) before you voted for our slot (56), so it’s not like she was voting Zeebu as a response to us being wagoned. The narrative that you are pushing that she voted for Zeebu specifically because she came under “pressure” for unvoting you is false. She’s already clarified (138) that she was suspicious of Zeebu until he voted for Aubrey (85).

Buddying.

If we were scum then trying to buddy you might be our motivation in voting for you and then unvoting you, though I would argue that there are much more effective ways for us to buddy you if that were the case. You still haven’t really explained why it’s more likely that I voted for you and Liz unvoted you because we are scum trying to buddy you, as opposed to us being town and Liz unvoted you simply because she didn’t think that you were scum. And if anything, you’ve gotten into a somewhat heated 1vs1 with Liz – I don’t think our ISO is consistent with someone trying to buddy you.

The whole point of the setup is to determine if the 3 PRs comply with the Captain’s orders.

So last time we were the captain and we would find out if any of the PR actions we submitted had disobeyed us or not. We wound up only submitting 2/3 actions, since we determined with the 3 possible mislynch situation that B & W brought up, we decided that we’d be helping scum, unless we were certain that our poison target was scum.

In that game, Persival was scum role cop, so if scum didn’t want us to be able to narrow down which player was the pr who disobeyed us, he could just disobey our command. Since the game was cut short, we’ll never find out if he would have claimed/performed the NA but we are claiming.

I’m trying it find it but I think there’s something about PR actions being revealed in the thread, the following day? I recall reading something about that?

Top of my head, the only thing you'd need to disobey is if you're poisoner, and ordered to poison your partner. Two things to remember: scum PRs can take an action and perform the kill; captain gives the orders, but he doesn't get results.

So, are the results posted in the thread or not? I remember reading that but I couldn’t find the quote. No we are not poisoner but I think they are the only role that can self-target. Unfortunately they also die by doing do, unless there’s also a doctor in the setup who can heal them the next day. I think it was pretty fucked up to have a poisoner but no doc in the last game.

So if the captain orders us to self-target, than they would defacto get the result that we disobeyed or any pr other than poisoner, which kind of sucks for us if that happens.

Yeah I’ll need to reread game setup then. I agree the claiming was premature. I’m a sucker for emotion, but he’s been agitated most this game. Usually when I see scum faking emotion, it feels more like it comes out of nowhere and dissipates quickly, where this has been a steady set of emotional posts.

I still think there is a big risk to his claiming as scum. If we don’t have a protective role, and he stays alive we’ll know somethings up. Risky play for a scum team of 2.

I thought he might be scum att and I found a game where scum!him voted a slot for comparable reasons. I am no longer sr him. Which you would know from ISOing me. Well that tends to happen when I feel I’m being wrongly pushed. Again, you would likely figure this out from reading my ISO. I was confused because I realized that I had played the original incarnation of this game, wrongly believing that pr actions are posted in the thread. Since that game never progressed to even the end of day 1, none of those misconceptions were cleared up until now.

Before that, it says "In this game, a "Captain" will tell the various Power Roles in the game what to do during the night." Considering the role PM, "During the night" apparently refers to "Power Roles," not "Captain."
