Scum!worm has bad staged reads. Something similar to his town game is that he stays on one person but the person he stays on as scum just doesn’t feel right. this game he was scum and was going after a town neighborizor if I remember correctly. PP was in that game too.
Our game now he was going after ali who is now confirmed scum so for rn worm is not scum. He doesn’t bus his partner especially if he doesn’t have to. From what i remember of worms iso whenever he checked in it was to say why is ali not being voted, from pretty early on too. Also from the time ali was still alive & worm was going after him it felt right cos ali was my main sr and worm was pushing him.
So i guess my read on worm kinda depends on my reads & if our reads align

Tbf he could be apart of the other scum team. But for ali’s Partner i dont think so.
I’m also still just leaning town on worm until something pings me as off.
I feel like i read Dr Worm well now tho. In this game I successfully read him as town but then he got mislynched. I didnt defend him good enough there cos i thought the others saw something i didnt so i didnt speak up enough. But I dont want to let that happen twice.
I’m going out on a limb & saying Dr. Worm is still just town here

I’d take a look at why he voted for me early on. It feels like exactly how you’re describing despite the short length in time. I do like your bussing argument though as I think Worm could’ve easily hopped off Alisae and no one would’ve batted an eye.

Didn’t get a chance to post before the Alisae’s lynch and I had a response for something Ari said.

I could easily see Flippity Nippity as scum tho.

Yeah his entrance was terrible. RVS was long over at the time and it’s not like he didn’t know. He commented on Nero’s 5 before making a vote for insomnia he deemed to be solely due to RVS. To me it feels he scanned the thread for his name before making that vote and deemed it safe to make it in order to stay under the radar.

I feel he was still attempting to do it after he asks insomnia how did a wagon grow on him in 509. Insomnia states what happened shortly after in 511. We don’t hear from Flippy until 200 posts later where he mentions he’s been scum reading Firebringer (729) but doesn’t want to vote him. Now here I expect an unvote from Flippy because it was an RVS vote and there was no mention of why he thought insomnia could be scum or if he was sheeping Alisae.

He hasn’t really done much since then and awkwardly skated around commentating on Alisae. Seems like a likely partner in my opinion.

I’m not sure why Enigma was killed. I don’t think he was obvious town or anything and in my experience he’s decent fodder for scum to push on. This makes me want to take a look at the reads (1196) he said matched up with his own in 1201. I’m not sure if the process in which Elephant attempted to interact with Alisae and case them comes from scum so I’m looking at Fire and Worm.

Nah it’s not Dave. I think he could’ve easily lurked out instead of bussing because no one would accuse him of intentionally avoiding the game.

Honestly it’s a coin flip these days. Everyone likes to jokingly claim scum and claim their partners too.

Making myself a note that 552 553 634 are important.
The page containing 634 and a couple pages before and after are the ones I was thinking about where other people discuss the signaling thing.
Forgot Dr Worm replied the same way. I wrote it off as being in the Worm style, which indicated it as meaningless. Maybe not.
Irrelephant did make comments about availability which could explain the delayed response.

because i'm stupid? idk, i tried to lay out my thought process in my ISO. my push on you wasn't really related to me thinking ali was town, though. i was more concerned with exams around EOD, i think the most important point i was thinking of was that if ali was town and called out your gambit, which was the most likely occurance fypov, you would be lynched, so the most likely explanation was that you made the soft ambigious and if it got outed you were going to deny it ever existed.

So.. has anyone figured out what "Unique Mechanics" this game has yet? When I first saw our role PM I assumed it might be that we have a hidden role, so

I tried to target someone by day and then again at night.

I got no results so I know we are at least not an investigative.

Has anyone else tried anything similar?

If I failed, well, I generated a soft inno and any gambit is risky. Like your scumread of me is the exact knowing risk I took in performing the gambit, but it's more than worth it because I correctly caught a scum. I can show you some recent town-me-likes-gambits if you want

Flavor wise that might be a Ep. 4 reference.
I don't remember enough of Ep. 2 to know whether there was a "raider" in that one.
Not prepared to go further at this time because it could lead to more info coming out than intended.

What do you think of 1261? I think that rules out half of the list to be honest due based on activity alone. I’m ruling out Elephant as well which leaves just Baezu

considering its from ali and ali was caught scum. I don't know how much we want to take stock in it. I have a hard time believing alisae and partner had much engagement.
