okay you might be being a meme here but i actually think shorter deadlines favor town in the long runIn post 650, Ircher wrote:Breaking News: There's a new meta in town of having blitz-length days even when you have two weeks to discuss!-

I think it honestly depends on who rolls scum actually. In post 653, OkaPoka wrote:

if you have all the strong solvers rolling town it's a bad idea shortening days.
If you have competent scums letting days go on longer is a death wish.
So I'm a bit split on the issue.-

There's a lot of factors. Deadlines alone don't swing it one way or the other. In post 654, nomnomnom wrote:

Like footnote, this theory actually relies on people being bad at lying.
Put people that are natural born liars and people that know how to abuse psychology to trick people and giving them more time is asking for trouble.
Plus even if you seriously believe in the theory that scums betray themselves eventually it's unlikely that townies catch up on it, even through intense isoing and game reviewing. There are too many dead angles.
Just my two cents, completely irrelevant but hey, if this helps someone maybe I did my job-

i dont think its a coincidence that basically all the posters as rhazh was eating rope were people voting rhazh + piss (who gave intent)-

Reading into activity is fine. Is it wrong to accuse people of lurking if they are not posting?
That said, I think using an activity read here may not be best. As Penguin said, it was the weekend and plenty of people post less then.-

I'm assuming that's for the hammer. In my experience that hammer is usually town. You can argue that it's bad town, but it's probably not scum.

I had it once and was informed of the number of scum (4 in a mini). I immediately put it out. He should have told us when he claimed. In post 593, OkaPoka wrote:What are informed usually informed of?-

You don't have to wait the entire phase, but you can at least go 5 or 6 days, no? I'm not ticked about it but let's not justify it and repeat it.In post 598, Ircher wrote:And I disagree Penguin.
No point in waiting the entire day to push people when you feel confident. Granted, we were wrong in this case, but at least we kept the game state moving. Long days brew town apathy, which causes town losses.-

Doesn't mean it's useless. Do you think a lynch this fast is more or less likely to be scum driven than the usual EOD lynch? In post 607, PenguinPower wrote:D1 is one of the most useful to refer back to when trying to make associations after information has flipped and that was limited. For you to think that's a good thing is asinine.-

That's not true. They interacted in 382. Although that post seems like Omo setting himself up to vote whomever he likes regardless of past pressure. In post 618, nomnomnom wrote:You can check his iso, all it has is a naked Rhaz vote. That's why. Nothing else he talked about was about Rhazh or discussing various topics about him. Nothing.-

Claiming titus doesn't mean it's titus. We'll see.In post 621, pisskop wrote:otoh its titus, and she has been known to do this as town.
otoh its titus, and this is exactly what scum titus does as an oldschool player.-

He barely posted and was null to me. How was Chemist consensus town?In post 632, Niko wrote:Oh, and if i had to guess, the protective protected chemist, what means that he is prob town.
I don't think there was another consensus town read besides him, and i'm skeptical of believing that it was just a coincidence.-

This feels off. You weren't lynchbaity before. The main argument against you was the quickhammer, and you immediately tried to defuse that. So why are you trying to portray yourself as lynchbaity? In post 638, Niko wrote:i don't want to be lynchbaity anymore
