Why does flipless imply an immediate mass claim? Is there precedent for this?

I believe some roles probably counter the flipless mech through information on dead slots - having them claim and get neutered by scum is anti-town at this point.

Yes. Because we lock everyone into claims for today, so no funny business after deaths. We get no Flips this game, which means zero info.

If another claim's protecting them, it's because the other claim's more valuable to town and is killed off.

We get no info from flips, but there must be roles that gain information. If we out them now, we'll render them useless.
