I feel like my current style of play makes it easy for scum to respond naturally slto the posts that I'm making and makes scumhunting harder, even just over the initial few pages.

well the good thing is that im in this game and i'm probably a readable player and like to provide content early and earnestly

I must teach my hydra partner through effective leadership. When RC requests your pinkies, you give them. That's it, end of story. RC has never mishandled my pinkies before so I have no reason to believe that he'd mishandle them now.

anyway im not really strongly scumreading anyone who's posted atp and i dont like any of the non rvs votes currently on the table so

... wig
VOTE: gamma
hectic, as gamma said roleblockers only stop active abilities. if there's a bp we prevent scum from fakeclaiming it (which they can do in the jk/vt/goon setup), get a conftown that if shot doesn't add to our mislynches so theres little utility in the protection claimed or not (besides obviously forcing scum to spend 2 phases to kill a bp), and if there's no bp but there is a tracker they can claim so that the doctor can protect them in secret every night for a psuedo follow the cop (the second part gamma is referring to). this is widely agreed to be the optimal play for the setup and was found late into its life by my other head actually
hydras can be annoying to read sometimes if you have different reads on the different heads, but for the most part as long as both players communicate with each other theyre usually cohesive enough to be read as a single unit

I feel like that was kind of obviously katy lmoa
Im probably going to go more in depth on This Read wrt inferno/tn when everyone else posts content, i think rn it helps to keep some of my cards close to my chest and see maybe if they naturally realize theyre wrong *shrug*

FoS
please follow through on this fos because i got the same vibe and i think the rest of his posts are generally scummy - i think contradictions and the like are more likely to be town indicative ftr since scum are more likely to construct a thought process and thus are able to keep track of it better (which is like, vaguely supported by actual research btw! i wrote a research paper on cue theory wrt deception and even though cues are shit it's one that reoccurred often and generally was indicative of honesty)
also i called coi/inferno tvt because it's kind of blatantly so? it's clear that they scumread each other because of misinterpretations and are arguing as a result of the other misinterpreting them... i townread both of them independently as well, inferno more so than coi but they also both have clear negative associatives with gamma who i am fairly confident is scum rn. if there's a necessity to defend them then i will, but for now i think it's more productive to let the inferno wagon move along until AS, BnB, and Hectic's slot weigh in on it

In post 210, TeamWorldwide wrote:if the indicator of TvT is arguing because of misinterpretations, then what's the indicator of TvS?
I wouldn't call it an indicator, like scum *can* feel misinterpreted and push against it... It's just the way it feels to me and I don't really know how to expand on it, like I guess the scumreads feel real to me? I've definitely been in their positions before and tbh the only time it ever became a full on fight was when it was tvt anyway. maybe scum are just less inclined to push against a townie when they know theyre deliberately misinterpreting someone? but I don't think either of them are deliberately being obstinate in any way, if i'm somehow wrong about either of them im not even sure how indicative their reads actually would be of them being scum here but i actually feel oddly confident abt the gamestate so far, which is weird esp considering raybells and i haven't really synced up yet

i feel like thats kind of obvious to figure out even without having to ask? when i roll scum usually the first thing i do is profile the players im up against and if i dont know them that requires reading games
there's a few nonestablished players but i think it's natural the ones in hydras are going to have slightly more experience than hectic, and everyone else sans the hydra heads who dont play on ms are easy to research

Also in JK9er sure you probably win if you claim JK. But you have 3/4 chance of screwing yourself. If you're a trash scum player who can't do better than 1/4 winrate, sure, check yourself.

not gonna work, because you should have known that by claiming BP you were creating a situation by which the tracker would not out when it would be optimal to you.
With a bunch of newbies sure. gl trying to pull that one on me.
