Because you believe you're less likely to get lolpocketed by her and you can make her leave the dance later in the game?

This is why top tier strat is to dance with the IC. No need to check if she's scum. We just dance. Even now, we are having dance party in the PT.
You're not going to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. S*Gaiden will not make long cases, write stunning insights, or sugar coat his words. He is not the man for multi-paragraph eloquence. He is, however, being honest to a fault, and it comes across in his writing.

Yes, looks like you initially had a scumread on FB that has recently flipped, GR had FB as townread when he made his list, and that's it among living players as far as I can tell.

Makes me somewhat skeptical of Shiro-scum unless we're hypothesizing a scum-scum pair. There's some plausibility in {shiro, GR}, I think, but that requires further review.

I feel that scum are likely to give up on FB/Shiro here if there is scum in the pair and merrily bus them as there is pretty much no chance of them making it deep.

this is deeply unreasonable, you can't expect anyone to townread what you were doing up until this page
Next time you have a thought like this can you post it in the lover PT and tell DeasVail to post it cause resonance makes my confbias snowball vibrate and shed some snow and that's not fun for anyone ok

Yes, there is if there's excessive posting coming from scum.
No, town aligned fluffposts have a real cost and can make sorting more difficult and can increase people's brain baggage. See: newbie queue deadline shortening somehow doubling town winrates. I think the geriatric ruleset goes way too far and descent into laziness but there's a kernel of truth to the idea of deciding if a post is worth the space it takes up on the page.
I'm pretty prolific as both alignments so I'm not the best mouthpiece for this but yeah.

There has been substantial confusion about pairings and offers in the pre-dance, and there will continue to be confusion in the VCs going forward if the thread grows at the current rate.

There is a very real pro-scum effect to excessive posting.
This is why i lurk and barely post. I'm clearly doing this to be the most pro-town i can be.
This could be at least adjacent to reality if you didn't flipping marry the IC.

Barry Bonds is a really good baseball player so he never gets out from strikeouts or pop flies, 100% of his outs are from hits that had home run velocity, but bounced off the foul pole at the exact angle that could bounce it to the first basemen for a tag out.
This is some kind of new brand of too scummy to be scum argument, too good at mafia to not transcend the way the game works for everyone else.

The mean is a bit higher than 3/16ths and the vast majority of it is Shiro's fault.
