Randomly select a page in this thread and roll four roles from that page
It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they're always going to have to do from the very beginning... SIT DOWN AND TALK!

If scum with a factional kill (groupscum or SK), becomes town.
If town, joins a random groupscum team after the full setup has been rolled.
If third party, no change.
If a role's ability is faction-specific, change it to reflect its new faction (i.e. a Friendly Neighbor would inform other players that it is not town, a Weak role would die upon visiting a player not of its new faction). If this is impossible, the ability is forfeited.

At the beginning of the game, the mod chooses a random role in the setup other than this one. At the end of Night 2, you will learn of that role's existence and alignment, but not who has it.

At the instant this role is rolled, using either random.org timestamp or the timestamp of the post including the dice tags (go to Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit global settings -> My date format -> Custom -> Enter "D M d, Y g:i:s a" to see seconds), the mod determines exactly how many seconds have elapsed in that real-life day, using their own timezone, unless the mod does not want to share their timezone in which case they must use UTC. Take the number of seconds determined this way, calculate it modulo [the number of posts in the Grand Idea thread], and use that post number in this thread.

Whilst you are aligned with the mafia you do not know who they are. If you are targeted for a nightkill by your team you are recruited. At night you may send another player a message that you are aligned with the Mafia.

You receive your role PM 24 hours before everyone else and you have that time to select someone to join the Alien faction. That player's role will remain the same but their alignment will be changed to Alien.

in the game thread during the Day. The moderator will announce that no players have died but will still reset the votecount. You may use this ability once in the game.

Each night, you may target a player to freeze. The frozen player will be announced to be frozen and will count as dead for all purposes the next Day and Night, but will not flip.
If a Day role, this takes effect immediately and lasts until the end of the next Night.
Named Vanilla Townie but roles that are based around flavors (Neapolitan, Vanilla Cop, Taste Tester) fail to act when targeting this player (so a Neapolitan would receive No Result)
