Someone did an analysis in MD that opening with greetings is more likely to come from scum than town or something.

Actually I take back that drew is a good shot for scum. Persivul and thespio are. Persivul's depth of interaction with the game is pretty lacking so far. His questions and such are kind of surface level blasé observations.

I believe that to a number of people (including me) this was an attempt at shade and to create a reason to get on this wagon, which was the leading wagon but had very little foundation.

I could see it in that manner but imo it could just as easily be a setup for questioning, only reason to think it wasn't is that there was no followup but they haven't posted since then.

Aye, if they don't follow up on it then scumread them, but for now I'm pretty sure it's NAI.

Spangled, explained in 203, but basically they're doing a lot of acting like there's nothing to work from when a fair few people are making useful noise to generate reads based off. See 159, and more recently the post about slow opens rather than... a useful contribution. This suggests to me they want

specific

people to be making noise to me, which is odd at best for town.

No. I'd rather you share any reads that have developed naturally, and I think that the fact you haven't developed, or at least shared, reads on several players really weird, particularly given your calls for noise. Persivul in particular is conspicuous in their absence* from your ISO, for example. (Which reminds me, haven't shared my feelings on them yet- was looking a bit scummy, but 214 forward give a really townish impression)

Expand on your thoughts on 201, please — I just felt like that was someone doing a meta-read on someone else.
