Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
(For draft order, I propose using the forum randomizer for anyone who wants to opt-out of my adorable children. Panzer will still whine, of course, but at least he won't hate my kids.)
I'm also fine with switching to yahoo standard rosters/scoring for convenience, so we don't have to argue about it like we do every year.
"can be fixed"? Anything can be fixed if you care enough to do so. We can add in some measures with the forum randomizer to make it pretty unfixable (it doesn't have to be anyone in particular rolling - heck, could be multiple rollers simulatenously, determining position by the sum modulo N - and we can set a time for whoever wants to be checking the forum constantly to ensure there's no double posting funny business). But if you're determined to believe it's rigged no matter what we do, can't really help you there.
If I had greased the marbles I would have picked first instead of where I did pick that year. That being said I am down for whatever pick method happens. To panzer's point having yahoo randomize it may be a good change of pace. We try it for one year, and if we like it we keep it. Otherwise we try something else next time.
When I joined this site, I was a software tester for mobile business applications and the song PokerFace was not yet written by Lady Gaga
Now I test lottery and gambling software as my job. It's funny how my life has turned out. Somewhere a Time Traveler is laughing madly

Sounds like something a marble greaser would say, tbh.
Also, gonna turn over a double new leaf and say that we don't need to do ppr. I think old-standard is fine because I'm going to play ppr via dfs regardless and I can have a taste of both. See look at what a wonderful guy I am this year
It's great. Just play a random public league, ppr is actually the default(standard) scoring option on yahoo and espn now even though despite non-ppr being called "standard".
Maybe they changed it, but full ppr was espn default for sure last year and the year before. Not 100% sure about yahoo because Matthew Berry doesn't shill yahoo leagues to me, so....ya.
