Also, I’m with Drew on this one. Gobble/Thes could be a real thing. I’m leaning more chainsaw than white knight here.
I don’t really care whether it’s effective, it’s just kind of annoying to deal with for everyone but the tunneler so I’d say no?

And I don’t think Gobble/Thes is a thing because of the way the Dry (gobble) wagon built up in response to the Thes wagon

I kinda think tunneling has a bad rap.

I prefer to come to a tentative conclusion based off the gamestate and then will take new info and incorporate it where it fits.

People who accuse me of tunneling have a high tendency to flip scum, and tunnel is the popterm they use to discredit my read.

If I think someone is scum I'll push them until it's clear I'm pushing a vanity wagon. Then I'll try to work with my town block.

There was one vote on me when I got 'aggressive', as you put it. Wouldn't call that too much pressure.

Maybe I am worried about keeping me alive, but why would scum-Drew throw himself into the fire with 4 days left and two wagons already trucking and people willing to vote a couple others?

Because that’s not a long-term success strategy, especially if you have a teammate under fire

Fair point, but even without a teammate under fire coasting doesn’t work well consistently

But see, he hasn't even SRed the Fish. He's just said that Fish can't be townlocked based on his towny catchup.
And the reason most of his conversation has been based around that is because that is what the discussion has been around: that is to say, the Fish's catchup and it's towniness (or relative lack thereof, from Imp's POV).
Additionally, scum can fake certain things - but not every thing. Imp has never said that scum can fake everything, just that the things the Fish has been doing have been fakeable by clever scum.
And asking for others to look at your reads is never LAMIST, nor should it be considered so. It is trying to make discussion over things - that is to say, what town should do.
(All this defence is what I meant when I said I felt some mindmeld with Imp - I've understood where he's been coming from on pretty much all quarters).

As town, it depends what kind of tunneling you're talking about - blind tunneling, or backed-up tunneling. One is good, the other is not. I'll leave you to decide which is which.
As scum, I have no idea - I've never tried.

Of course not.
It's just forming associative reads - saying that if one is scum then the other probably is doesn't necessarily mean you think they're scum.

Ok, but coasting and being on the sidelines would have probably kept me safe.......so what scum motivation would I have to make a case on Turkey unless I am trying to protect thespio(already stated I would vote him) or phil(who currently has no votes on him but people are willing to vote, no reason to try to protect). Scum motivation would be just to stay active enough until the day ends an then try to be more active on D2, and let town lynch town.
