You've assessed the game state, and you know that your scumbuddies aren't likely to be wagonned NOR are they likely to get venge-shot barring extreme CFD circumstances.

As I already pointed out (and several people didn't know) a NL is better for scum than a mislynch. When you know 100% of mislynches result in vengekills, the math is clear.

Nowhere have I suggested that scum would openly try to NL.
It's simpler to just not be here at all. All they have to do is not be active, if there aren't even enough players in the thread to get majority.

That's an interesting approach to the topic of resistance. Usually people use resistance to push a lynch there because they think the resistance is coming from scum protecting their own.

you have to consider the who and the how. tytitus and arist are voting rcepo for a valid reason. do you disagree?
shiro is on a vanity wagon. is this the way to save a scum p? non-voters include us, grievous themselves and rcepo who is the competing wagon. it could be argued that rcepo and grievous are scum together thus not voting eachother but it still doesnt look a good way for 2 scums to defend eachother. that leaves obi and deb. do you think either or both are scum with grievous?

i came in with the intention to vote rcepo. i cant get over that announcement grievous was flipping town when it took rcepo 4 days from the start of d2 to post. they waited for grievous to get to l-1 to start posting and declare them town.

As for whom to venge, that's the most problematic question right now. If the lynchee is scum that's great and they don't even have a venge shot so we don't need to worry about it. If they are town though then we collectively made a mistake, and I', not sure that gives us the right to tell them whom to venge too. They can take our suggestions into consideration, but the final say is theirs. I know I wouldn't listen to those who wrongfully lynched me if I was in that situation.

I think I will need to do a full reread of the game as I believe I had approached the game the wrong way. It was hard to do it the usual way when I didn't know who was whom so meta reads were totally out of the question. I never really tried to reread from the beginning to see if I can meta read someone now and/or make a connection between them and the flipped scum (that one's going to be hard I guess since it was a known lurker duo)

The only thing I still maintain is that DEB is very likely town BY META. I don't think it matters much to out who we are precisely at this point, but I would rather not unless it becomes inevitable to save the slot.

I'd be lying if I said I was "pretty confident" Obi will be lynched today. I'd love to try to lynch them though.

If that doesn't go through though it maybe best if we lynched someone who scum reads them (but we agree that the lynchee has a higher chance of being scum themselves). I think that way we either lynch scum or have the lynchee venge Obi.

But that would be pushing our luck still in case we really have 3 scums left, in which case mislynching = instant loss.

So, I think our best course/chance is to lynch Obi still.

OK, this is getting weird, so I'm going to out my reason for town reading this slot: I believe DEB to be Abstract Nonsense, and that Baezu has been posting most if not all posts since I first said that's not their scum meta (and some before that point). Baezu was scum in the second game (Attack of the Colognes) and if you cross examine her posting style between here and there it is abundantly clear this isn't scum!her. The fact that it's a most recent game (was even running simultaneously with thus one) makes it hard to think she suddenly changed her scum style that much. Can anybody refute my logic here?

Not until I saw all the flipped people and had a good idea about a couple more slots. I mean, it wasn't exactly intentional, but some people use certain phrases or type in a certain style, and some even said something that made them obvious to me. That is why I started the game typing in all small letters and avoiding the use of emoticons so as to conceal my identity for as long as possible, but then I alt slipped and that was the end of it.

Yes. So when you read that X hadn't posted all game you go and check on what players have not been on MS since the start of the game, and you only find 3 of them, and 2 are already accounted for. It's really a negligible probability that someone has been playing the game for 2 months and hasn't once logged on to their main.

We have finally come to the consensus that Tytitus is town. The Shiro kill kind of backs that up. Shiro dying instead of ki adi makes me second guess and my partner thinks he could be Deb's partner, I think it's Nute but I'm not solid on ki adi being town like I was the rest of the game so my partner can probably talk me into it.

The game won't end when the numbers are tied, it will still go into night phase then we lose the next day, after scums shot.

What's the bloody difference? If there are 2 scums alive we lose upon a mislynch anyway. That's was the whole point.
