Stilted, descriptive manner of posting; not much nuance or deliberation in their reads; their reactions to things like Irrelph pushing for flavor = alignment and Vorkuta's slip read more like agenda pushing than genuine attempts to figure things out.

I read it as genuine frustration that someone with such low impact has skated through the game and he's pushing people without any reasoning behind it. On a closer look, his argument with Irrelph could actually be TvT depending on how Irrelph handles the slot.

The town response to something like this is, by and large, to seek to understand it, rather than to complain about it.

No, that's your interpretation of what a town should act like and should be in constant seeking understanding mode. He was expressing a scum read and how frustrated he was with people not seeing how scum he is.

What kind of response would you even get out of "Why are you pushing a "scum are in bad flavor characters"?" ?

Arist was not frustrated by Irrelph's argument itself. They were frustrated by people calling it town, and they reacted to this by repeating that "too dumb to be scum" isn't a thing without really seeking to understand why people were arguing that.

I said "by and large" for a reason. That is usually how townies act, because town is the alignment where players do actually have to figure things out.

Obviously their response is not impossible to imagine as town, but I think in a vacuum it is more likely to be scum.

Upon re-checking, other than the vote, the things that Nute has done today are pretty bad and I'm disappointed with the stuff he latched on to. I'll spend some time on actually evaluating Nute without my bias towards him.

Reeks of scum that sucks with providing quality town content as the game progresses.

I don't want this day to be an Irrelph speedlynch, talk on other stuff, you have a whole PoE to sort. It's about time people made one and talked to other villagers about it.

Interesting, I don't see it as stilted at all. What I do see would help scum to point it out, so I won't.

I initially thought this was answering my question, mostly because I focused on the first sentence. It took a 2nd reading to see that it was more likely a response to 881.

I totally am. I see scum expressing frustration that people are calling the person they planned to mislynch town for dumb reasons.

I think DEB is town again based on recent posts (even though the post you quoted about venging, I meant more that you were calling a venge on ME, which I couldn't fathom at the time, seemed super rushed and I think town would be more concerned about thinking through a venge or venging a lurker. I agreed with venging Baezda)

Also considering scum has a "hidden power", I also don't think we have 4 scum here, but I am still cautious
