I'm not one who enjoys talk on mech. I like mechs itself but talking about it is pretty bland on my end. When I saw what the town wincon was I knew I'd have to change my style of play or I wouldn't get a key. So, I figured the best way to do that would be to lynch scumreads until I find enough town to hand the keys off too. I've been reading the whole thread but I have not much I want to say. If you have questions feel free to toss them my way.
Sure, where are your scumreads past pine?
TL and Kuriibo in that order.
You're lucky I try not to argue with scum anymore

I've seen his town game and it was blatantly obvious very quickly. This isn't it. His posting doesn't show any real hints of solving or thought progression. I see gaps. He just got to point A to point B randomly. I think he's shading slots and just playing set up. It's bad
I bet Maria is scum this game

MariaR's reasoning is oddly compelling
Kuribo's thoughts he is not telling
but on this page
this game's age
is only 72 hours, so he's not yelling

I don't really think there's anything to gain by claiming this early, there isn't much pressure yet. Least for kuribo.

I'd love to point you to Fate's Mafia, a 12(or 13 I forget) player game we won in 3 hours of real life game play, and Psychic Mafia, also a mini that town stomped in 1.5days of game play.

POWERLYNCHING IS THE ONE TRUE PATH TO OPTIMAL TOWNPLAY

Yeah, except in this case powerlynching under 6 people feels like it would trigger a mod event.

Not saying powerlynching katsuki isn't powerful cupcake, just we need to keep in mind bastard game with weird windows.

I don't think we'll be able to powerlynch to under 6 people.

you think something will stop us?

My math says if scum gets a kill every lynch if scums around, we have 3 safe lynches and the 4th brings us below the threshold, 5 bringing us to 3 people.

Sure, sure, still can lean alignment indicative (at the very least it semi-locks her into having to claim information later).

If I had a powerlynch vote, it would be here by the way.

Short version of what do re powerlynching, well, we can't right now. We don't know what happens if we power-Townblock Key vote, but it seems likely that we'll get some public opinion-interaction mechanic after a hammer, just like we got this Green Key giveaway after lynching with time left on the clock. I don't think we
need
to rush it but it shouldn't be an inherent negative for the Town to commit this early (remember, Madame is definitely pro on contributing and moving the game forward in its limited time frame - I doubt she'd reward us for dragging our feet). In some ways it's more valuable to vote someone to get a key than to lynch - it won't reset the scum kill cooldown, and it's not like we get less flip information out of hammering the Key giveaway than we would hammering a lynch. Unless I missed something, we're at 6 votes on Hebi-chan out of 7. I think anyone who feels strongly that we ought not give it to Hebi-chan, feels very strongly that we should give it to another specific person, or feels strongly that we should slow down (I would be skeptical) should make their arguments now. Otherwise, why should we wait?

... and that's not even factoring in extra kills. We should try to advance to the well as soon as possible. After all, we don't want to use up all lynches before advancing to the well in case one scum or third party sneaks in.

BUT before we can advance at all
all 6 keys need to exist at all(and on 6 different people!). (and now I am glad that we decided not to decline to lynch and to wait for a key which would have resulted in a loss at time unit 0 due to the green key missing).
What's even worse is that we need to give force the autoloss condition named Black Key onto a fellow townie.
