I’m just confused to how Avengers was so obviously scum based on game state and play. Who would the partners be to not give Avengers any support? Like they had some.

Slots that didn't want to or didn't know how to make a false association around avengers and/or take the fall. I'd expect avengers to be the heavy hitter in that case. But also consider the slots that consolidated against them. Like that's a tough block to overcome.

I mean, that's fair. I just object to comments like "one of these three must be scum" because that's a great way to confbias yourself into chaining mislynches even when the gamestate has changed to the point where that's no longer the right play. I'm not saying that's going to happen here, just that you should be reevaluating your reads at each step and not chugging blindly ahead.
