oversoul's questions make perfect sense from a town perspective and i'm struggling to see why you think theyre specifically "safe" questions scum would ask.
can we just have rc/shoshin not interact until they townread each other early on or if later in the day there's still scumreads there resolve it then? i think it's entirely likely shoshin or rc could be scum here but if the day is going to turn into rc/shoshin i'd rather delay that for once i have a handle on everyone else :/

Like on the surface 'hey let's put this off til later' is protown but I feel that there's a specific standoffishness to the fact that it's Me VS Someone Else that wouldn't be present if Katy were town. I think she'd have engaged me about it rather than talking about ~the gamestate~.

Katy's response was fine and I was diffident in the scumread in the first place because it felt like the same kind of read I had on Shoshin that I'm not feeling so great about. Most of the "objective" reasoning I didn't actually put much stock in.

Katyusha simultaneously said that we were SvT (profiteering off of our spat assuming that you are in fact town but also probably bad if you aren't) then told us to stop yelling at each other. Not only that but the stuff that giggles said was about 'reading me correctly' and idk. The context in this post seems to refer to knowing Katy better in mafia specifically, not outside of mafia. I think that Oversoul's line of questioning is the scummiest thing in the game right now. I think that you and Katy are being weird about me in a way that I'm finding it impossible to stay meaningfully.

i dont think i changed much as a mafia player aside from being a lot more jaded about the game in general and flaking more often as a result, i basically only join games because people ask me to and i dont like turning people down
since this is a hydra im probably going to put more effort into sticking around but still, i cant tryhard the way i used to

right this is what i'm getting at: is there something about the context that makes it more likely scum playing it safe rather than town legitimately just wanting to get those answers? because i dont see it yet
also since someone is inevitably going to ask i said rc/shoshin was only likely svt because i'd assume that if they were as confident as i'm reading them the town one is probably correct - there's nothing about that interaction that really makes it *not* tvt but i'd rather like, just understand the game's baseline which i dont really yet
