When we put out the bait for scum to trade information on their team D1, Cyrus bit. Hard. He scumclaimed, and said he’d help us with our wincon by trading a scumbuddy for letting him have the Crown Jewel before we lynched him. We agreed, and he told us about Numbers being scum with him. He knew about eir extra powers, and said the only way ANY bandits were going to win was by working together. We promptly told him “Thanks but no thanks” and lynched him. Regardless of everything else, letting outed scum live wasn’t going to work. All he’d have to do is kill one of us, then it’s his word against the survivor.

ok a few other things:

1. cyrus knew about the crown jewels. scum!ircher presumably knows about the bandits then, right? wouldn't he know that his scum buddy needs the jewel to win ?

so why would he spend all of day1 defending the buddy that needs him dead to win ?

2. to win cyrus still needs scum to win ... selling at his buddy seems kinda like a dumb move on his part tbh

I can’t speak to Cyrus’s motives, I just know that he scumclaimed and wanted to work together. Believe me, if I could quote our PT here you’d think he was playing straight here too

What if scum!cyrus reveals that to his scumbuddies and they agree to his him hard bc that gives them the towncred to go through the rest of the game

Also potentially if the crown jewel thing is real to set themselves up to win early by becoming unlynchable early than normal

And the other bandits stay quiet because not being identified is their/is part of their wincon
