This game had 5 of us in it. It's a short one.In post 165, Citceh wrote:Doctor Drew:I've noticed that several of your reads on others are based on meta from previously playing with them. Is there a recent game you could link me which had 3 or more of you in it? It would certainly be fruitful to read through such a game.-

He just seems like he did in the aforementioned game. And furthermore, his thoughts have seemed to flow naturally. In post 180, Citceh wrote:

Oh, I missed that link. Much appreciated.
Why should an obvious joke about there being "7 mafia and 2 town" cause any confusion? If anything, it's your reaction and push on it which is causing the confusion here, my friend. In post 149, Charles510 wrote:Anything that causes confusion helps mafia I think.

In post 161, Doctor Drew wrote:If this were last game I would vote you here, but you live and you learn. You are playing just like last game, and turned out you were town. So for now I will lean town on you.
But, I don't like the vote on Charles. I get what you don't like about him, but seems more NAI then anything.
You're welcome to disagree with me, but voting me merely out of disagreement is bad form. It's better to look at why I have my view than to judge it on the outcome.
In this case, I am saying that Charles isn't contributing much to discussion, whereas most other are contributing a lot. Here's the argument on which I base this view:
Town who contribute a lot help town, but those who contribute little do not help town. Scum who contribute a lot risk exposing themselves by inconsistencies later in the game, but lurking scum is a relatively safe way to avoid detection.
In light of inactive town being unhelpful and inactive scum being late game threats, my general approach is to lynch inactive people early while we still have room to make mistakes. You usually can't policy a lurker in mylo, but you can in early game.
And the hydras are really getting to me this game, and I guess it is the DocWat head that is bothering me the most. I don't know if I can call it scummy though.
Agreed about the hydras.
Says you.[...]
And espresso, we are not policy lynching.
We still have a lot of time left in D1 and we'll probably arrive on a decent scumread eventually... but if we don't, I think policy is a valid reason for a vote on D1.-

Hmm, hydra heads are a convenient excuse to wave away inconsistent stances. Something to keep an eye on in the future. In post 179, Citceh wrote:

To be fair to Charles, these are good posts at defending his stance on the Doc Hop vote.In post 184, Charles510 wrote:

I don't agree that the Doc Hop fake mafia claim was scummy, but I like that Charles is willing to discuss it.-

I don’t have any town reads yet. I have scum reads and then that leaves everyone else town. You don’t vote for town, you vote for your best scum read.In post 193, EspressoPatronum wrote:

I recall a few experienced players laying out a convincing argument to me stating that it's easier to find town than scum. therefore, it's more consistent if you can establish a town core then vote for people outside of it. I can link you a game if you're interested in seeing this in action. In post 198, Charles510 wrote:

The fact that you have no town reads yet is pretty suspicious. Of the people not in your scum reads, can you put them on a spectrum from most to least town?
