The announcing of which roles scum chose. MDS made the change on 8/29 and S_S didn't know about it.

Yes, but it was pretty obvious that if there was a cop scum would take something to mess it up.

Although this setup has only been run once before and both roles capable of getting a cop result died before D2. So we never actually saw that in action. But people speculated, correctly, that there was probably a godfather.

The majority of the setup concept was MDS's idea, I mostly helped fine-tune mechanics and balance. But I do think it's the best setup I know that uses the modular generation method.

I'd say NAI at best too. What's town indicative about it? scum is motivated to appear helpful as well. Being scum doesn't suddenly turn you into someone who is going to complain or brag.

Just a personal verdict.

I think a scum opening would've been much less neutral and more game-focused, but the way he's dipping his toes in the water while dropping nuggets of wisdom feels town.
And complaining/bragging isn't something S_S does lol. I just don't see scum opening with "Huh dat rule change"
