I think she wanted to come out with a secret town read inno (or maybe two if she could get away with another night) that would strengthen her read list and start solving the game. She specifically asked for Mastina and mine's lists before the day ended yesterday. Her delaying her own reads list did seem strategic, and I think she was waiting for her result to come through. She just didn't expect to die at all and thus didn't crumb it.

And as scum, I am capable of faking that process, of exaggerating the truth, of making it seem like I'm something I'm not--but push come to shove when I actually claim my real role. As scum I don't fucking lie and as town it's not nearly as common as people fucking think.

Because the truth is the greatest weapon you have at your disposal, and if you weaponize the truth, you're more sincere. Staying true to your role PM makes you more genuine, and that genuineness garners townreads.

It's a fucking stupid idea to fakeclaim as scum because it's setting yourself to a narrative you know is a lie and when you know your narrative is bullshit it's hard to keep bullshitting to it.

This is my widely-known, widely-established, stance on roleclaiming which you have literally fucking hundreds of games to track down me saying this shit in. I don't think that LLD is scum, I legitimately don't. Yes she is a force of goddamn nature who will do anything and everything to further her own win condition, but I think she's on our side. Her reactions to everything don't read to me like a caught scumLLD, but a genuinely frustrated and upset LLD who is feeling attacked and with only so much she can actually do to defend herself. I don't know anything about the role she's actually claimed, and it's possible that's a lie, but her behaviour just doesn't have the underlying feel to it when she's lying and manipulating to get one over on you.

So I've seen people call this out as why xof is scum. Can I get some background of why?

I think in the absence of anything credible that we could actually push the only thing we should do is maybe keep an eye on people, but independent of anything else, i probably wont lynch based off who we think Ank hid behind.

Yeah, that's my argument. I'm not a huge fan of extending this hunting for crumb stuff because it's mostly mechanical and feels easy for scum to coast by on/hide behind. It sucks but I think focusing on her possible investigations will be more harmful than helpful.
