the board game I was going to propose we make to my team of people is to turn advanced wars/war groove into a board game but w/o air units, naval units, and Commander Officers.
Except the one issue is, what would make this game different thematically?

Overall it seems markedly inferior to CS, with far fewer useful skills being taught and far more bullshit projects. But they get to design games which is cool.It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken.
