Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it would still track them even if they failed to give them fruit.

I believe this is incorrect. I know a roleblocked tracker target would he seen as going no where so i assume this extends to just basic role failure

It’s a little different, and weird.

If a Cop targets an ascetic, they would get a no result, but a tracker targeting a Cop isn’t blocked by any means, so the tracker would see the Cop target the Ascetic.

It’s weird, and I don’t know if I agree with it, but at the moment, that is how it works for Normal games, which effectively makes it sitewide.

It doesn’t come up often, but I’ve modded a game where it did, and I was scum in a game where it happened. Other than that, it’s all been semantic talk with it

But to clarify in this case, if JJD was jailkept, and the tracker targeted Cliff, the tracker would get the result that Cliff targeted JJD.

But if the roleblocker targeted Cliff and the tracker targeted Cliff then the tracker would get a no result.

Is that right?

That would actual be bad mistake to assuem your town cliff. The correct thing to do is to look at things as if you were both scum and town. As if you are scum any speculation about you flipping town would be pointless. But with both scum and town conditions atleast we have one even if oen does get discarded
