This is true if so far the main discussion has been mostly town. If the town are confusing themselves, scum would be smart by staying minimal.

Not necessarily. Scum can help contribute to chaotic or pointless discussion just as much town. I’d argue scum have incentive to do so in order to control the narrative.

I’m not sure how much that applies to current site meta though. I’ve been able to win a majority of my scum games this year solely because of how badly town were eating each other alive.
