Sunset 2

The Deathcars are fast approaching the decisive dive into the Deathsubway. They are on the very
precipice. The road ahead is like a rollercoaster from a cheap horror flick. A nearly vertical drop from
the 1960th storey, with zero electromagnetic decelerators along the way. The terminal velocity would
be absolutely windshield-shredding. Here they come, genties and ladlemen! They are now gazing into
the abyss! The abyss is gazing back into them! And THAT'S THE GO!

But wait, something is happening! From behind the lines emerges a Deathcar long forgotten, a pilot
unmentioned since the dawn of the race. The absurdly high-tech EMP, previously deemed too fragile
and overengineered by the Deathpundits! It turns out it has just been biding its time, saving all its
energy for this one stretch, this gigantic slide that would act as a particle collider and accelerate it to
such relativistic speeds that it would win not just this track, but create a temporal anomaly and win
all tracks in past, present and future!

That's what galaxy famous physicist Walbert Zweistein says, congratulations on the new jaw by the
way, and guurrrl his hype is just contagious! I can't wait for the—

emps:
Whirrrrrrsszszsszszszzszszs FHST *splat*

Oh dear. Oh my. Something clearly went wrong there and emps seems to have erased themself from
our timeline. An enormous quantity of Schmiggs bosons and potatoes just like the one shoved into
eth0s's exhaust emerge from the temporal rift before it closes. It appears we have found our culprit
after all. What can I say, I suppose it's just karma. Any comments on this sudden twist, Mr Zweistein?

Walbert Zweistein:
*jaw dropping noises*

It's okay, Walb, I'm sure it was just a remedial maths error. However, it seems this track has to come
to an end, as Deathcops from all over Deathcity have come to issue speeding tickets to the remaining
contestants. And thus first place goes to the still salty NaCl, who was right behind emps before they
went to a better place. Second place is earned by our favourite Farkran on the Flipper Nipper, and
third place by the Sausasaurus Rex.

We are at a quantifiable conundrum regarding the Roadrunner's rather disappointing finale after the
promising interlude from earlier, but not all questions are meant to be answered. Right, Mr Zweistein?

Walbert Zweistein:
*garble-warble-marble*

That's what I always say.

Night 2

Annnnd here we are again for the third round of the ads, I mean the Deathcars Race. Once
again, despite my previous warnings, we got numerous complaints from viewers who tried
to cut their cables or break their screens to escape the neverending stream of commercials,
only to find themselves listening to the last two seconds on repeat until their TV finally died
just before we got back on air. For which we apologise absolutely insincerely, uh I mean my
whole heart is weeping for you, truly, but I did try to warn you. So.

For those of you who still have their TVs intact, we are back on track, and the track is none
other than the haunted realm of Hell! Literally! It has impenetrable darkness, not to worry,
our cams' got you covered there, it has eldritch horrors, burning pumpkin faces, awhoooing
ghosts, ravenous zombies, and so much more exciting stage eff— effigies. Of death. And
terror. That's what I meant. There of course are rumours that Hell isn't real and this is just
another shitsplat planet that our crew has hastily terraformed, or more like veneraformed,
before stuffing the hapless natives full of pollutants and mutagens until they started to look
like ghosts and demons. Which, of course – you're smarter than to believe what you read
on the internet, especially on shady forums where people try to lynch each other.

And now, the Deathcars are finally in position and tensions are high as the race is about to
begin. Everyone good to go? Commence the final countdown!

3... 2... 1...
WHOOOOSH!!!

Flipper Nipper:
I AM ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.
Farkran:
Nononono, come on come on come o—
Flipper Nipper:
BANZAIIII *splat*

Fiddlesticks! Another pesky rascal must have overtuned the Flipper Nipper's state of the art
AI to a very disastrous result! Probably should've considered that before giving the autopilot
root privileges. Then again, we were never sure how much of the control was ever up to the
person behind the wheel, and judging by the arrangement of crucial motherboards and XOR
logic gates and their order of exploding, it doesn't seem to have been a whole lot. Alas, bot
or not, the Flipper had long been a fan favourite and I'm sure many of his... I mean, its, die
hard fans are now dying hard at the loss of the friendly plane that flipped and nipped to the
finish line every time, only to end up in Hell for eternity.

But, such is life in glorious Arstotzka.

Spoiler:
Farkran
the town friendly neighbour (Night 2) has been killed.

Darn it, Farkran, I was supposed to die so you could solve this! Or maybe neither of us would was what I'd been hoping.

Yeah, he was FN, there was no doctor. I lied about his action last day to protect him.

I tracked QC last night, he's clear.

Also, out of curiosity, who got his visit N2?

SausasaurusRex, Selynee, Jocus Aevorum. One of them is mafia.
Selynee voted emps as soon as the wagon was built, so I think it is either SausasaurusRex or Jocus Aevorum.
Sausaurus is probably a better guess.

I am actually more suspicious of Selynee, and Jocus. I'll be busy for the rest of the day so I don't have time to really describe things, but I'm not that sold on Rex.

Yup, this was a lie. My N1 track was actually on you. So you're cleared as well. I wanted to hold this off for later on in the day, but whatever.

OK. So, NaCl is town, QC is town, I am town (yeah, the privilege of seeing my role), I really doubt that emps pushes so hard on Rex D1, Robbnva was actually V/LA, but he was present at the beginning of D2 (which was Friday, he was V/LA till Friday).

There are only 3 non clears left.

The problem with Selynee and Quantifiable Conundrum’s posts are that they state they are town, then expect us to believe them without offering any proof. In Selynee’s post, she gives reasons to vote Jocus Avornum via the process of elimination, but doesn’t offer any reason for her own innocence, drawing the attention away from her role.

Also, notice how Emps never voted Selynee, and he even said he townread her. He also defended her at least once, which I think would be a little strange if he was trying to make people thing that other people are scum. Therefore, I think Selynee must have been Emp’s partner.

Not how it works, Rex. The POE was made from my perspective knowing my role- it wasn't made with any expectations you'd consider me town for saying I'm town. Also, there is no proof of innocence- I'm obviously no PR and no clear on me, so whatever I say might come from mafia. Your decision whatever I'm mafia or not.

Emps also townread Farkran and QC at some point. Can't after all scumread the whole playerlist. So what is different in my case?

Farkran is dead, so he’s no longer important. Besides, Emps could have been “townreading” him with the intent on killing him during the night anyway. Also, if Emps was the mafia goon, the other mafia is the mafia rolecop, who could have found the role on Farkran the previous night, and planned to kill him the next night.

As NaCl said, Emps scumread Quantifiable Conundrum for most of Day 1, which I think he would be unlikely to do had Quantifiable Conundrum been his partner, even though he did change stances later.

You mention how your POE was from your perspective, and I understand that, but it doesn’t work for anyone but you as an argument because it relies on the principal that you are town, which only you can know.
